Didn’t use it to press out the old ball joints on my Chevy 3500 but it worked great to press in the new ball joints. For a low priced kit it does great, better than expected. Feels solid and not flimsy, threads held up well just make sure to grease them a little before using this unit.

I've used a lot of different brands of these over the years. Honestly I'd say it's comparable to harbor freights, which in my history is better then the snap on one's ive used in the past. It could use a few more adapters but for the money it works perfectly and as needed. From years of using them, be sure to grease the threaded shaft for preservation of the tool. Bent the hell out of the large ring trying to get a ball joint out to no avail, probably user error. Had to beat the ball joint out with a 4lb sledge. It worked well for putting the ball joints back in. It also worked well for pushing some rubber bushings out.

It is very heavy duty. I've only used on a 2wd car so far. But it should handle the 4wd easily.Great price and came in 2 days.
