I got this for emergency purposes but wanted to set it up and learn how it functions before it’s needed and I’ll probably put 4 eggs in to see how reliable this incubator is before needed. The size is perfect and will take up very little space. As far as I can tell this won’t give a humidity reading. The temperature was reached in less than 5 minutes and has maintained the 38° C. It will require you to add water fairly frequently to keep the humidity level up. It has the option to manually rotate the eggs but the gear under the holder locks it into place. Seems easy enough for a beginner to use or for someone with. Lee experience to have on hand for small batches. It’s is quiet, practically silent! Assembly is easy. The styrofoam slides on and off with ease, I have some that are difficult. Everything is included except for the wall block for the outlet. Also, not all charging or power cords of the same type will work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to assemble and automatic - this is basically a clock that rotates the egg carrier and the eggs themselves rotate. This one is small - just 4 eggs at a time. It’s easy to adjust the temp, it defaults at 38C and you can reduce this to 37.8C if you like. There’s no battery back-up, so if you lose power, the temp cold drop. Upon plugging in, the temp display is visible and you need to give it some time to come up to temp. Be patient. There is a water trough that you can fill for humidity control, this can be done without removing the lid as well. There is a light on the front, if you want to use that for candling. Save the pacing foam, as this provides another layer of temp protection if you are in a cool climate. Includes everything you need like the weather refill bottle and a small sprayer, USB cable and ASB-A/C adapter. Fun for home operations or just interesting science experiment.

This tiny little incubator is SMALL. As in, 4 chicken egg small. But, it has room in between those chicken eggs for 4 quail eggs too, so you could technically hatch 4 chicken and 4 quail in here at the same time... except you'd have to remove the quail before the chickens hatch since there's a few days difference in the two. Aside from that, this is an adorable little incubator. It's small, and almost comical in how it looks, but it heats up quick and seems to maintain a steady temp. It's plastic all over, so the build quality is debatable. But for now, it works! And it would make the perfect first incubator for a child to feel like they have something all their own.

Fits on my nightstand, so there’s that. It would be better for small eggs, I’m currently hatching medium eggs and they don’t roll, it’s not hard to lift the cover and roll them manually. It runs on a USB C, so that’s a plus in my book. I am using it for eggs that are suspected duds that I want to isolate in case they go really bad. I can’t imagine chicks hatching inside this incubator, I’d move eggs to a brooder when they start pipping. Would this incubator be good for little kids - yes. For people that regularly hatch and end up with a couple eggs they want to isolate - yes. It works.

This incubator is small and perfect for first time hatching experience. Its excellent quality and I love that it rotates, just a daily water spray on the eggs and the incubator takes care of the rest. Warms up to temp nicely just takes a little time. Super cute and perfect for my daughter's experience hatching her own baby chicks.

Occasionally need to take eggs from a broody hen and throw them an incubator. This is great for smaller clutches especially when you want to use a larger incubator for something else. Good size, quality, and decent functions.
