Nice inexpensive upgrade for the 5.3L. Throttle response is very noticeable. Didn't notice a sound difference. Airflow is certainly improved judging by the power increase via seat of the pants dyno. Fits well. Good quality.

I have an 02 Yukon with a 5.3, Was a little somewhat Leary purchasing this with some of the reviews.. people say clamp junk! Rubber boots too big! Compared K&N price.. I was very impressed with what I got for the money! Had no problems! Assembly and installation was awesome! If you're not mechanically inclined.. stick to what you do best and have someone that knows what they're doing install it. Great product for the price! No complaints! ... show more

Product showed up on time, everything was in the box, and it's not bad for the price, BUT... It's 2024 and you'd think hose clamps these days wouldn't be an issue. The hardware it comes with is Uber cheap. 1 hose clamp literally fell apart and the screw fell out because it wasn't crimped strong enough. The other hose clamps would not tighten, so whenever you got them snug, they stopped and just kept spinning, so I threw them all away and had to order some good ones. In they're manual, it says it will work for an 07, which is possible, but, you have to tap into the pipe and install a barbed fitting/nipple for the PCV valve, which most intakes should have now a days, so if your not really mechanically inclined, I suggest ordering a kit that already has it. Overall, I'm satisfied, but my only complaint are the hose clamps because they're absolute garbage. ... show more
