I like the simplicity of the printer and it does work out of the box. You can use other filament, you don't have to buy from the app. It does print well and I am happy with my purchase. I don't like the barebones function of the app, I wish it would let you know more of whats going on.     • Wi-Fi setup flawed and tech support # disconnected
I’m a software engineer and I couldn’t get it setup. They rely too much on WiFi. If your WiFi doesn’t have a password it’s an issue and you can’t connect. The tech support number is non-existent. Do NOT buy. I’ve now got a $109 paperweight.

    • A great tool for making small figures
I want to talk about its operating system first. Very simple to connect to the app. Then choose what you want to do. All that's left is waiting. It's that simple. Then there's the compact size. Doesn't take up much space. This is what I like. Because I just want to make some small figurines.

Bought this for my son’s birthday, sadly he opened it after the return date! Never worked and makes horrible noise! Piece of junk! So angry! The previous reviews were correct. Not worth it! Purchased this for my son’s for his birthday, and after what seems like a million attempts over several days, it’s never connected to Bluetooth, and therefore can’t function at all. I paid $115 for this printer and at first I was looking forward to it for my kids gift, until it arrived. Got it out of the box and plugged it in and spent 6 hours fighting with it to connect to my wifi just to have the printer disconnect the moment I tried printing literally anything. I emailed the company and they ignored my emails. Called company customer service and the number isn't connected. Don't waste your money because clearly the company (KOKONI) doesn't care enough to help the customers. I returned it immediately and will not purchase anything else with KOKONI name on it ... show more

A bit sketchy, we won't be ordering more from this source. It also takes an overpriced replacement filament cartridge. It's garbage but fun to tinker with now that I'm stuck with it. If you wind your own filaments then it's not a bad little toy for the price.

What I liked if the printer had worked was the interesting things I could have done with it. I really was looking forward to using the printer based on all the things that was supposed to do. Very, very unhappy with the purchase.
