Features

  • TH72 prints are incredibly durable and highly resistant to damage: They can withstand accidental drops to endure long-distance transportation without any issues. In fact, these prints can be significantly bent or even folded, even with a wall thickness of less than 3mm. This makes them perfect for creating long-lasting and resilient figures. Rest assured that your printed items will remain intact and unharmed, ensuring the best quality and durability
  • Long-lasting toughness: TH72 prints are built to last and will not become brittle with time. They have undergone extensive testing in various outdoor environments, including subtropical summers with prolonged exposure to sunshine and rainy weather. These prints have even been subjected to 8-hour high temperature drying at 50-60 C, yet they still maintain their exceptional toughness and strength. With excellent weather resistance, you can trust that these prints will withstand any conditions and remain in pristine condition.
  • Crack-resistant hollowed prints: Traditional hollowed-out prints often suffer from cracking over time due to incomplete cleaning and the inability to undergo post-curing. However, with TH72, you can rest assured that this will not be an issue. These prints are specifically engineered to resist cracking, even with hollowed designs. This not only ensures the longevity of the prints but also allows you to save on material usage, making TH72 an economical choice.
  • Exceptionally low water absorption: With a water absorption rate of just 0.6% within 48 hours, TH72 exhibits outstanding performance in 3D printer resins. which makes the printed parts not soften due to high air humidity and not crack due to long-term moisture absorption. You can confidently rely on TH72 prints to maintain their structural integrity and quality, regardless of the surrounding environmental conditions.
  • Enhancing toughness in resin blends: The RESIONE team conducted tests by incorporating TH72 as a toughening agent in rigid/standard resins. Remarkably, when TH72 makes up 40% of the mixed resin, it dramatically improves the overall toughness while still maintaining ample strength. This innovative use of TH72 allows you to enhance the performance of rigid/standard resins, resulting in printed parts that exhibit exceptional durability and resilience.

  • Most impressive resin I've tried
Size: 1kg Style: 1kg
If you make minis, this is the resin to get! I've made a lot of minis with a lot of different resins, and breakage is pretty common. This resin is a bit more expensive than most (although not that much more), but it is worth it for how much sturdier the prints are. They have some flex to them, so if you drop them on a hard surface they don't tend to break, they don't break while getting supports off - just all around sturdier. And the quality is every bit as good as other resins, so you don't lose detail in exchange for sturdiness. ... show more

  • Cheap, flexible(ish) resin, good for additive.
Size: 1kg Style: 1kg
I primarily print miniatures for painting and gaming (6mm - 32mm mostly), but the brittle characteristics of regular resin were getting pretty annoying. I didn't want to lay down $60 for better reviewed stuff, so I ended up getting this for about $35 for 1kg. So far, about 10 prints in, I have no issues. I used it as an additive to my regular clear resin, about 60-40. There is a very noticeable difference in the strength and flexibility of the minis. Small parts no longer crack when removing supports, and I've done a mild-moderate drop test and didn't have a break. I hardly had to adjust any settings. I changed the layer hight from .05 to .04, and that was preemptive rather than needed. I'll probably do less additive next time, maybe 25% instead, willd definitely be getting this again. ... show more

  • A great tough resin
Size: 500g Style: 500g
I picked up a couple of bottles of this to use as an additive when printing miniatures, and it has really impressed me. A 60/40 blend of ABS-like resin and TH72 has done exactly what I want it to do. Tough, flexible, and easy to print with. Given how long an exposure time Resione recommends, I'm surprised that I've gotten away with using my normal settings, but I guess that comes from it being a blend. I suggest that anyone on the fence about buying this go ahead and give it a try. It works great and it's a great deal. ... show more

  • Amazing results but dial your exposure time.
Size: 500g Style: 500g
Purchased this to test out on Mars 2 pro. Used recommended settings and used resin manufacturers settings provided by support. Ended up changing the print exposure times and keeping the suggested support settings. Amazing results on first successful print

  • Great as an additive. Terrible as a standalone resin.
Size: 1kg Style: 1kg
Let me start by saying I printed over 100kgs of this resin bought direct through Resione for a much lower price than what is advertised on Amazon. I own and operate a 3D Printing business and we use around 2kg per day of resin and have printed with dozens of brands including other very flexible resins such as Herotough, Tenacious, Sunlu Toughness, etc... The resin is extremely durable and flexible. it also looks good raw. Very happy with the final product. The problem is the resin is VERY sticky during the print and after. On many printers the resin is so sticky during the print that it causes failures at otherwise appropriate exposure settings. To compensate for this the company suggests increasing supports which is not feasible for us when we have 10,000+ models we are printing. We experimented with brand new NFEP, FEP 2.0 and PFA on several machines without success. We were only able to successfully print without alteration to the models on small format printers. Any medium or large format had failures unless we over exposed or adjusted the supports. Our solution was to dilute it with 25% standard resin, which worked well for printing and we did not have to over expose or adjust supports. The other major problem is curing times. The company suggests 30-60 minutes curing time and they're not joking. The resin prints remain sticky to the touch after cleaning with 99 IPA or even Acetone unless exposed to an extended period of time under a curing lamp. It was an unacceptable amount of time added to our process. If you're interested in using this resin as a cheap additive I highly recommend. If you're looking for a flexible off the shelf resin to use as-is I would pass. ... show more

  • Hit and miss! FOLLOW UP TO ORIGINAL REVIEW//More Followup
Size: 1kg Style: 1kg
Yet another follow-up. Since my last edit I've had a chance to go through quite a bit of this stuff and as you can see in the pictures, prints continue to fail and have gone into the trash rather than onto the painting table. Even with the added expense of a heater which initially seemed to solve the problem, entire build plates of prints continue to separate, pull apart and fail. At $40 a bottle, these are some expensive failures. Ironically as can be seen in the pictures, when it works, it really works! But it needs to work all the time. I have used up my last bottle of this and will not be purchasing anymore. Quick follow-up. Before giving up completely I read/watched more reviews and saw the one constant was temperature. So, the printer (Elegoo 3 Mars Pro) was set up in a very warm (85 degrees F) garage on a hot day and long-story-short; the print came out perfect. This prompted the purchase of a small resin printer heater placed under the cover next to the vat and set to about 34 degrees C. Two more highly detailed and complex prints were done before running out of resin, each one came out flawless. Lesson learned - this resin is very viscous and if you are new to it, make sure it's warmed up to allow it to flow and create the prints you are expecting. Also noted is the very prompt, courteous and helpful support received from Resione once the initial review was published. This stuff seems to be very much hit-and-miss. I've done 10 prints with 9 misses and one hit. When it works it's pretty good but at around 40 bucks a bottle, those are some very expensive misses. I will not be getting any more. The only good thing I can offer is that it doesn't stink. ... show more
