    • nice video camera
Color: Black
The camera is extremely small and lightweight. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and has a padded strap to keep it in place. It is comfortable to hold for extended periods of time and comes with a tripod for extended, steady recording. It was simple to use, with all of the necessary controls right at my fingertips. To turn it on, simply flip open the screen, and the zoom and record/photo buttons are located on top of the camera. The Vivitar 4K Video Camera is a camcorder designed to capture high-quality video footage and is equipped with various features suitable for vlogging, recording events, and more. Based on the description you provided, here are some key features of this camera: 4K Video Recording: The camera can record videos in 4K resolution, which provides excellent clarity and detail for your video content. The media could not be loaded. The camera's 18x digital zoom allows you to capture close-up shots with amazing clarity, while the 3” IPS touchscreen makes it easy to frame your shots and adjust settings on the fly. The night vision capabilities allow you to take stunning nighttime videos without sacrificing image quality. And if you're looking for even more control over your recordings, the 3.5mm microphone jack lets you attach an external mic for improved audio coverage. Plus, all of this is powered by a rechargeable battery that provides up to two hours of recording time per charge and also includes an SD card slot so you can store all your footage with ease. All in all I feel the Vivitar 4K Video Camera is a great option for capturing stunning video or still images in any setting. Its powerful features make it perfect for vloggers or professional photographers alike who are looking to take their recordings up a notch. Whether you need clear footage at night or detailed close-ups during the day, the Vivitar 4K has got you covered. So don't miss out on this incredible camera - get yours today and start capturing every moment with ease! ... show more

    • Audio is total unusable!
Color: Teal
I bought this based on what seemed like solid reviews, but then when I got it, I tried using it for recording live music (mine). There NO Audio Controls at all on this camcorder. There's no way to adjust mic inputs or anything else. So, I figured I'd buy an external mic to solve the problem, so I bought a really nice Rode mic and I had the exact same problem. I did a little more review digging and found out that this is a very common problem (for some reason, I completely missed that when reading the Amazon reviews the first time. Probably because the price tag seemed so good). I hung on this unit too long to return it (my fault), so now I use it for video only and record using my phone which has adequate audio (and much better resolution). That brings me to the quality of the video itself. It says 4k, and it may actually spec out to that, but the actual quality of the video is so disappointing that if anyone ever asked me what they thought of this camcorder, I would tell them to run, not walk away from this one. BTW, I rarely if ever leave bad reviews. I genuinely think companies try there best to put good products out there, but this one is an exception. ... show more

    • Okay Camera
Color: Black
Nice features, however the quality of the film were less than adequate. Bought specifically to video tape football games for our youth football team. The quality of the film is definitely not 4K. The film appeared very grainy. The quality of the game film did not help us. The team ended up using another brand, Sony and the quality of the film was so much better. ... show more

    • Good for the money
Color: Black
Very easy to use. I wish the camera had a zoom that was higher, but for the money it's okay. I would like to have had a pouch to fit the camera cords.

    • High resolution, mediocre quality, missing gaps
Color: Black
The camera is a 4K camera, but there are some issues. The color is pretty washed out. While the image is a 4K image, it's not very smooth and there is more noise than I would expect. The digital zoom doesn't even pretend to be smooth - it has discrete jumps from one zoom level to the next. It wouldn't have been that hard to modify the software in some ways which would have made the hardware in this camera work better. It's inexpensive, but I'm not sure it's worth the money for the quality you get. Another issue I've discovered. This camera cannot record long videos. Many digital video cameras break up the video into smaller files as memory fills up. That's fine. This one doesn't have enough buffer to do so seamlessly. This means that if you are recording a 30 minute video, it will be in 4 files. That's fine. However, in between each of those files will be a couple missing seconds. If you record a play, as I did, there are gaps. That isn't acceptable and I've lowered my rating. ... show more
