I didn’t care for the fact that the taste didn’t go away For an hour, my teeth did not feel smooth! I am very glad I found this toothpaste and the price was excellent. You can count on 365 by Whole Foods Market for qualit y. Fluoride-Free Toothpaste has a nice Fresh minty flavor. Good foam for us foam-aholics to let you know it's cleaning. You should floss before brushing and use a power brush to get a good removal of plaque and maintain freshness. This is great for using to brush after lunch as well. You'll notice a shade or two of whitening, or at least I did. No sensitivity. No dental irritation. But I don't have any open sores or wounds on my gums. You should be sure to speak with your Dentist if you experience any of these issues. ... show more

This toothpaste is rather soft. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just a texture difference from the "stiffness" of regular name brand toothpastes. I don't notice any particular whitening, but maybe that's just me. I like that it's fluoride free, but don't care for the Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. Not that this is the lathering agent people might think of that's in many of the name brands, but still would have prefer it be left out. On the plus side the other ingredients seem pretty straightforward, and I don't see tons of additives. I'd like it a bit more minty, but if you have children or don't care for strong mint flavor this may be perfect for you. I like the container and cap. I'd buy this toothpaste again. ... show more

I've used this for about 3-4 months now. You don't even know you're using fluoride free toothpaste. It tastes the same as regular peppermint toothpaste and does a great job at cleaning; except without fluoride. Fluoride is poisonous for human health. Thanks to 365 Whole foods for making this.
