If you are unable to find a specific certified organic honey, typically any HoneyBear type honey will do as a suitable substitution such as the one made by 365 by Whole Foods Market, Honey Mountain Forest Light Amber Organic, 12 Ounce. It is both flavorful and rich in color and flavor and as designed adds desired sweetness to any hot tea, and can be used in place of granulate sugars in many instances. Some people like to add honey to pancakes and home-made granola, (personally I prefer the milder flavor of a solid MapleSyrup for this), but many have stated that Honey can be used to accent almost any hot beverage or hot cereal as desired. But it can be used to make a hot tea that is chilled to serve cold AFTER adding Honey as well. If you are a daily tea drinker, or have more than one tea drinker in your immediate marital family, you will want to buy at least four-to-six of these little organic BearShaped bottles to get you through the month. While I'm not crazy with the bottle itself, I was looking for a smaller amount of honey & this is the only size that fit my needs. It does taste good but there are many honeys out there with fuller flavor. I use this in recipes & sometimes in tea. I like that I can squeeze out what I need vs using a spoon though. Great honey and good price. Like many organic honeys, it crystallizes relatively quickly so you'll need to put in hot water to return it to it's original consistency.
