I was waiting for a root canal from a tiny cavity between two teeth and couldn’t get into the dentist for about four days. I ordered this based on the reviews, and it really worked very well! Since it’s a liquid it was able to get down to the nerve. Glad to say I received my root canal and no longer need this, but happy to have it in hand. These are easy to use. They do not stay on for very long. It is hard to not want to play with them. On average they stayed on for an hour and a half. It does take the pain away right away. A very small part of my tooth broke off but it broke off all the way into my gums, leaving a a mini chocolate chip size hole in my gums. So sometimes when I eat and I accidentally chew on that side of my mouth it’s just excruciatingly painful and turns immediately into a headache as well. Because I could tell part of my nerve was exposed I didn’t think anything could help me. But I was in so much pain I figured I’d give it a shot. It did take me dipping the swab in the solution twice for it to work. And that area was TOTALLY numb and stayed numb until the pain went away. The only thing that I’m not big on which I will not deduct a star for, is sometimes the solution touches my lip which causes me to taste it and it does have a slightly unpleasant taste. But that’s not why the product is purchased and the taste has never turned me away from using the product when in need. Plus the applicator they give you is the perfect size to put directly on the affected area.
