They work. They soothe and heal oral tissue. They stick fairly well, but will dislodge with more than a few small sips of water. This is a unique and effective product with a very high price, as only consistent use will be effective, and it could take more than a box of 6 patches to heal a canker sore. I did not expect to like this kit as much as I do. First off let me start out by saying it is not a cure all, you will eventually need to go back to the dentist to fix whatever pain you're in. I got this hoping to hold me over til the weekend was over so I could call my dentist and ask him what to do. I had zero hopes that this was gonna do much for me. It completely did its job, to my pleasant surprise. The little cotton swabs were cute and very useful! careful not to touch your lip though, it will numb any skin or area it comes into contact with... including your lips 😆😆😆 not for very long, but long enough for you to feel like you can't feel your lips for just a bit. I touched one little bitty area on my lip by accident and I couldn't feel it for about an hour or two, then slowly I was able to feel everything again. It was worth it to have that pain gone from my tooth/gums area though. 10/10 recommend this cute little numbing kit for emergencies ... show more

The problem is the design—it’s tough to get the liquid onto the little applicator without spilling or overusing. This the best toothache kit I have ever used. The numbing solution really works very well. I've probably bought this kit 5 times at least because it is the only one that consistently works. It numbs and the numbing lasts. The best thing about this kit is the applicator holder and tips. You dip it in the solution with the little stick thing and you can literally put it down in your tooth. If there's a nerve exposed you can put it right on it. They are disposable so that is nice too. I think this is better than oragel or the other brands because of the lasting numbing effect and the applicators. If the others don't work for you, try this.
