Update: It’s October 13th in western NY and I’m watching the Buffalo Bills, in my 91 degree pool. I’ve had zero issues with the unit, great purchase. Original review: I couldn’t find much information on the brand "Patfebro," but the model number matches the Sunrain BYC-010TF1. The units look identical and share the same specifications, so I’m assuming this is simply a rebrand. Sunrain, established in 1999, went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2012. They sell products in over 160 countries and regions, serving an estimated 25 million clients, so they’re a major player in the global pool inverter market. That said, I wasn’t able to find any reviews for this particular model, which is why I decided to set it up right away and share my own experience. Initial impressions: The packaging was excellent, and my installer had it up and running in no time. It’s impressively quiet—I can barely hear it over the pool pump. The build quality seems solid, and overall, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. It’s currently keeping my 3,000-gallon pool at 91°F in September in New York (near Lake Erie). Pump considerations: I upgraded from a 1,000 GPH pump to a model designed for continuous (24/7) operation. My previous pump would shut off within a day due to a dirty filter, and I knew the inverter requires consistent flow to operate properly. The larger, dedicated pool pump not only ensures reliable operation but is also much quieter. Plus, I no longer have to clean filters daily—huge bonus. Warranty and support: I reached out to [email protected] , as directed in the provided documentation, to inquire about the unit’s warranty and a small issue I’m experiencing with the control screen. The screen powers up and all buttons seem functional, except I can’t figure out how to change the mode or turn the unit on directly from the screen. For now, I’m using the Tuya app to control it, which has worked flawlessly—no connectivity issues and very responsive. I also purchased the 3-year extended warranty on Amazon for $99, but if the manufacturer’s included warranty turns out to be decent, I’ll probably return the extended plan. My guess is that the price of this unit will increase once more people realize the value it offers—especially considering the technology, performance, and price point.

The media could not be loaded. Same Controller problem as stated by a prior Verified Purchase Review. Two days operating and the ON/OFF/RETURN touchpad button for the Controller no longer responds. Still able to do some controls using WIFI interface, but this Controller fail makes other abilities inoperative due to no RETURN button. One work-around is to power-off to the whole unit for an UNLOCK or use limited WIFI controls. Wrote to the Seller here on Amazon, got a direct email contact source and the Seller is sending the new Controller part replacement for my Patfebro unit. Manual's schematic shows the Controller cable leading to the main circuit board is easily unplugged to install the replacement. I'm calling this a 5-star purchase because Seller Customer Service responded quickly to get this Controller glitch easily resolved by mailing a new Controller that can quickly plug in, and the unit operates well while employing the work-around methods.
