I have been using my Panasonic shaver for several months. Best investment. Dealing with old lady facial hair has been a pain. I've used Nair creams for years but don't like doing that to my skin. I worried about shaving -- but it has been great. It gives a very close shave even to very fine white facial hairs. I don't have to shave very often (once or twice a month). I use it after I shower and apply moisturizer. I've also tried it on my legs and it does a very good job there. I find it a little more challenging with pit hair -- I find it pinches a bit, but I'm using it dry and haven't tried using it in the shower which I think would help. The only improvement I would make is a light on it that lets you know when it is fully charged. ... show more

Ok, so I am a male, and yes, I purchased one of these. I shave my legs because I am a cyclist and frankly, I was getting a little tired of having to shave with disposables and in the shower constantly. This helps relieve that so I can actually shave before a ride or event with no nicks or razor burn. It takes roughly a little less time to shave entirely and I do shave all the way up to my butt. As far as it leaving you smooth, being a man I have coarse hair and this does the job superbly. I can shave wet or dry and no razor burn as I mentioned and is gn of ingrown hair as yet, although everyone might be different. It follows the contours very well without snagging! Easy to clean head and just simply rinse with water let dry and charge. As far as battery life, haven’t quite ran it enough to kill the battery and I have always put it back on the charger when done, but everyone else has said it has good battery life. That is the one reason I choose this razor. Its ease of use was another factor for me and how smooth it operates. It is a bit loud, but I’m not trying to use it in secret. This is the second time I’ve bought this. It is powerful so be careful if you have dry skin on your legs as it might give you razor burn. I just wish it was made where the indicator told you when it was fully charged.

I thought my days as a hairy, razor bumpy gal would be the bane of my existence. Lo and behold, I was introduced to this beautiful piece of technology! My Mongolian heritage leaves me with extremely THICK and dark hairs on my pale skin. I used to shave in the morning and have a 4 o’clock shadow! Not to mention painful razor burns and ingrown hairs. I was ready to give up and spend thousands of dollars getting laser hair removal. Then I got this bad boy! This is the closest shave you can possibly get without even using a razor and shaving cream. I have so far only used it dry and it works perfectly. No razor bumps or irritations (yes, even on the pubic area!) Is it the absolute closest shave you can get just like if you had shaved with a razor? Maybe not, but it is SO CLOSE that you can barely tell. If you go extra slow and meticulously, I think you can get it pretty close! If you have thin hair, then the shave is just as close as a razor! I originally wanted to buy the Panasonic ES2207 but they were sold out. I was skeptical to try this because out of my 15 years of trying lasers, new razors, creams etc. I had given up. This has genuinely helped so much with my confidence and schedule! Remember to go slow and perpendicular to your skin and you’ll be set! You can also try wiggling back and forth up against the shave line if you don’t want to miss any hairs. The design of this shaver is definitely prettier and sleeker. The charging light only has one colour (red) so it will not tell you when it is finished charging but a few hours on the charger and it’ll be ready to use. Love this. I can use it in or out of the shower and I don't have to contort my body to reach certain spots. I use it while watching TV. The charge holds for a long time and it is easy to clean. The shave isn't as close as a razor but that could also be the way I hold it.

This razor is AMAZING! I’m a chunky girl (66yrs) with a lot of surface area to shave. Because of my age, I’m not as “limber” as I used to be. The design (shape) of this razor is easy to handle and gives me a very smooth shave without irritation. I do recommend following the instructions to exfoliate and moisturize before shaving dry (allowing time for moisturizer to be absorbed), I’ve never shaved wet with it. This keeps dead skin cells from clogging the razor. Also, the red light for charging does not go off, but that is addressed in the manual…..it has a really long battery life but needs to recharge for 24 hours to be fully charged. It’s also great on “bikini” area, even though I haven’t worn one in decades!!🤣 With other shavers, I’d end up with razor burn and ingrown hairs especially on my inner thighs….none of that with this razor! I’ve owned this razor for 3 years and it’s been phenomenal however I’m about to purchase an identical one because the trimmer will no longer lift. For $40 I certainly have gotten great value from it! It does OK but it won't be close on your legs. I don't know about electric shavers these days. They don't seem to work as good as they did when I was younger.
