I have s similar set of items at my workshop in England but this set is different. The pencils are very much better as they are all the same size lead and plenty of them! (the one in England. bought on TEMU, has different sized leads most of which do not fit the pencils). The rulers are identical and good. I use them for marking repeatable spots and lines in from the edges of panels when I am making drawers for example. I used to use a sliding square but don't like adjusting the square all the time as I know that it will wear out the bearing surfaces and ultimately spoil the accuracy, whereas with these simple sliding marker rulers wear is not a problem. BUT, the clever little square is not square! Not out by a lot and not enough to make a real difference when marking around a small piece of stock, but still rather sad that the fixed part of the square is visibly out of true, see photo. I will still use it here in Florida like I use the one I have in London, but have to drop a star. Otherwise, a well packaged useful kit ... show more

I probably would not buy this because the 3D Multi-Angle Measuring Ruler is only in Metric and not conventional "inches".

I picked this up for my husband, who does a lot of woodworking projects at home, and overall it’s been a really nice addition to his tool setup. The aluminum rulers feel sturdy but lightweight, and the laser-etched markings are easy to read and don’t look like they’ll wear off anytime soon. He especially likes the different ruler sizes and the built-in depth measurements, which have come in handy for more precise cuts and layouts. The multi-angle ruler is great for quick squaring and checking angles, and it feels well-made for such a compact tool. The mechanical pencils were a pleasant surprise too—they make clean, sharp lines and work well even in tight spots. The different lead colors are useful for marking different measurements without confusion. Everything comes neatly packed in a case, which makes it easy to keep organized instead of digging through a toolbox. I’m giving it four stars because while it’s not replacing his higher-end tools, it’s a really solid, versatile set for everyday woodworking and DIY projects.
