Both barrels came with broken handles. I contacted the seller , sent pictures and within 30 minutes I got a message that a refund had been issued and it was not necessary to return them . I could dispose or keep and use them the way they are. They came as a 2 pack and were not in a box so I think that is why they got broken probably by the shipper. Fabulous customer service ! The size looked perfect and the cans looked like the would have met my needs ... show more

The bin component itself is ok. But the lid is TERRIBLE. Just a few weeks of ownership a hole has already been punched through by an animal (see photos). I emailed them to give feedback asking them to please improve the quality of the lid for future customers. They replied with a canned response saying they cant offer me a refund. I never asked for a refund. Ill attach the exchange below. But if I had to make a recommendation, if you have animals around where you live DO NOT buy this product. Me: Hello, I’ve had these bins for a few weeks now. Unfortunately, the lids are not heavy duty and animals busted through the lid. The quality of the lid is not satisfactory. I’m just letting you know so you can improve them and offer a better product to future customers. This morning I set my trash out for pickup. Between that time and the time that the garbage truck arrives, an animal busted a hole in the top of the can and pulled out all the trash. The handles have prickly surface. It is painful to pull the can around. I will have to order foan tubing to put on the handles. Stupid design I have never seen a can with these terrible handles. They should be smooth . I wouldn't have bought it had I known the handles were going to be painful to use. ... show more
