Can I use the original Starlink Mini cable? No. The original Starlink Mini cable is 50ft (15m), 20AWG. Its long length creates heavy power loss at 12V, causing voltage drop or cutoffs. Car cigarette lighter only supplies 12V. Please use cables ≤5m (16ft). For 5–15m cables, use at least 16AWG. Why does voltage drop sometimes when powering Starlink Mini? Voltage drop is mainly caused by power loss over an overly long cable. For best performance with Starlink Mini, keep your cable no longer than 16 ft (5 m). We recommend a 10 ft (3 m) cable for stable power delivery. Cable≤20AWG. 16/18AWG preferred. What devices can this 300W inverter power? It runs devices under 300W continuous power, such as laptops, phones, cameras and Starlink Mini. Check your device wattage before use. WARM TIPS: Most car cigarette lighter ports have built-in power limits within 200W. Why is charging slow via USB-A or Type-C port? Fast charging requires a compatible fast-charge cable. If you use a regular cable, charging speed will be low. Please use your phone original cable or certified fast-charging cable to achieve fast charging. This is a decent little 12 V to 120 V Inverter.
This is a small 300 W car power inverter with a cooling fan that turns on as needed. I used it to power a CPAP machine while I was camping. It worked out well. This did not have enough power to feed my Cpap with the humidifier turned on. But it did work once I turned off the humidifier in the CPAP. It seems pretty solid and very usable. It does not appear to give any sort of electronics protection as in a modified sine wave, but it does seem to be providing decently clean power for small devices. I doubt very seriously that it would work for any kind of coffee maker or heating element as those pull too many watts. For small 120 V items, this is perfect. ... show more

Nice inverter but…….
It works for my 2023 Tesla 16v DC socket. The inverter works well. It has an on/off switch which requires you to always manual switch it on when needed. Tesla cutoffs off the DC outlets when you leave the car and when you reenter you need to switch it back on or you can set the Tesla to have the outlets always on which uses up a lot of electricity. Therefore, I returned it and found a different inverter that turns back on AUTOMATICALLY when power is restored/on. No need to manually switch it to on. The reason I wanted auto on is that I plug it into the rear DC outlet and have a plug in air freshener attached. With the Blubuman inverter I had to raise the rear hatch and go to the rear and turn it back on every time. My new inverter is from Bestek. It automatically turns on when power in your car is awaken. It has an on/off switch that you can turn it off and it will be off when your car is awaken. ... show more

Powered My Starlink and Everything Else for a 14-Hour Road Trip
I used this on a cross-country archery road trip to a national event, and it ended up being one of the more useful accessories I brought along. The biggest test was keeping my Starlink Mini powered while we were on the road for about 14 hours. It handled that without any problems. The Starlink stayed powered, and I never experienced random shutdowns or anything else that made me question the power output. What I really like is that I was not limited to powering just the Starlink. I also used the USB ports to charge phones and used the AC outlet to keep my MacBook topped off while traveling. Being able to handle all of those devices from one unit made it much easier to keep everything running during a long day on the road. I was also paying attention to heat because I have had vehicle power adapters fail before after extended use. I did not have any unusual heat problems with this one during the trip, even while using it for several different devices over an extended period. The overall convenience is probably what stands out most to me. Instead of carrying separate vehicle adapters for the Starlink, phones, and laptop, I could handle everything from one device. For the cost at the time of my review, I think the value is very good. There are cheaper vehicle power adapters available, but having the combination of an AC outlet and USB charging along with enough power to keep my Starlink Mini running makes this much more versatile than a basic adapter. Pros: - Powered my Starlink Mini reliably during a 14-hour road trip - AC outlet is very handy for laptop charging - USB ports let me charge phones at the same time - No overheating or reliability problems during extended use - Eliminates the need for several separate adapters Cons: - AC power is less efficient than powering some devices directly from DC or USB-C - Takes up more space than a simple single-purpose car charger After a long road trip using it continuously with my Starlink Mini, phones, and MacBook, I really do not have much to criticize.
