    • Bad assembly instructions
This does seem to be a very good quality lawn mower jack. I received it a few days ago and assembled it last night. There are 2 reasons I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The first reason. Instead of putting the bolts and washers needed to assemble it in a sealed bag and taping it to the body of the jack itself they were pre screwed in were they need to be placed. In theory this was a good idea but some of the bolts and pins came loose during transport and were laying on the inside of the box. Fed Ex put a hole in the box so a couple of the pieces of hardware were missing not a real big deal only a couple of bucks to get the missing pieces from the hardware store. Second reason the assembly instructions are complete crap. The instructions should have been step by step instructions they are not. Fortunately I do have a background in construction inspections and was able to figure out what needed to be done and were things went from the crap instructions they sent. If you need step by step instructions you will not get them. It only took me 25 minutes to assemble and that was including the time it took to figure out the drawings. This lift did not work like I had expected, I’ve only had it for less than six months and it has failed. It won’t lift my garden mower at all. I am very disappointed with this product, I hope that the supplier or manufacturer will refund me or replace it. I mean this lift didn’t even last a year, pretty sad if nothing is done. ... show more
