For short rides or around town this is my favorite helmet. I highly recommend! It's a true skull cap helmet and it feels like your not wearing a helmet at all. I'm considering buying another one to have as a spare. Now... I had to make modifications to it focusing on comfortability. I used it once with the plastic locking clip attached but I had to cut the locking mechanism off and stripped it down only keeping the D rings on (photo attached). This modification made it more comfortable and efficiently adjustable! I can wear a bennie or hat underneath the helmet and not have to finagle with the plastic locking mechanism. Happy riding and be safe out there!

The helmet delivered exactly how it's described, low profile no mushroom head. Great for around town riding. Realistically it provides minimal protection but for the price it's a bargain. I ordered a size small, glad I did because it fits perfectly.

Have you ever had ice cream in a plastic baseball helmet or pirate hat? That is what this is. It has a DOT label painted on it & some pads inside. No way it was approved by any real safety organization. Probably better than riding bald. Fits weird, in fact it sits high on the head unless the chin strap pulls it down. To get the look that you want if you're looking at these helmet, it needs to be tight. Better options areavailable. .

So, there is absolutely no way in hell this thing is actually DOT approved. You pick it up and squeeze it in the whole thing flexes. But, has a decent look, it fits my head once I was done fiddling with the strips, (I wear a large in any other motorcycle helmet, and the large fit me just fine) and will definitely pass cursory inspection by police officers if you're in a helmet required state. If you're looking for a helmet that looks like a helmet this thing is perfect. If you're looking for a helmet to actually protect your head, spend some actual money.
