A few weeks back, I left the lights on in a walmart parking lot. I came out to find I needed a jump. No problem, I carry cables. But while I was getting ready to jump my 4Runner, this guy runs up with one of these jump packs, and does it. I couldn't believe how well it worked. I took a picture with my phone, and bought one as soon as I got home. Since then, I have found out that my generator has a dead battery. (rather ironic, but there it is). I deal with frequent blackouts living out in the country, so at least 1 a month is normal). Pull starting that thing is a huge pain in my shoulder, literally... but this last time I just hooked up the jump pack, and cranked it over better than it's ever done before. Used it 3 times that day (had to add gas, etc). Still reads 100%. So I'm buying 3 more. One will be an xmas present for my neighbor, Two will go in our other cars. Forget carrying jumper cables... this little thing is way better, plus with the circuitry that shows you the green light, you CANNOT screw it up. If you hook it up backward, nothing happens! I really am blown away at how well it works, especially for this price.

Updating my review after customer service got in touch with me. I checked the instructions, you are correct about charging every three months. I got this unit confused with another product that is supposed to hold a charge for two years. I was finally able to charge the unit, so I don't need another one or a refund. I do appreciate the customer service and will correct my review. DO NOT BUY! Purchased May 27th 2023. Fully charged it. Went to use it today August 5th 2023, dead 0 charge and will not charge. return window closed June 26th.

When using the cigarette lighter attachment/ DC output with my Garmin GPS device the unit shuts off after 15 or 20 seconds. Will call customer service tomorrow on this. USB outputs work just fine for charging a cell phone. The battery display is a great and the unit is user friendly overall. Can’t wait to jump my first car.
