I got this for my parents because they insist on keeping their lexus but never make any attempt to drive it so this keeps the car battery from dying out. The battery gets drained super quick and I am tired of always having to jump it or turning the car on every day for 15 minutes. This device is not exactly small but it does come with a carrying handle to make it easier to carry around. The power cable can be wrapped around but the jumper cables not so much. It is a bit loose and I wish there was a place to easily wrap the cord. The charger uses a standard wall plug in order to get power so you do not need a special plug or anything. All you need to do is plug this device in and hook the clamps to the battery. As always, make sure to be careful when applying the clamps for safety. The clamps is not too bad and holds on the battery well. The controls are pretty easy to follow. The digital screen shows how much power is going through as well as the power level of the battery so you know how much power it initially started with. This device cools well to keep it from overheating. I still do not plug this directly into any surge protector just to be safe. I am not entirely sure if this can really JUMP a car battery right away but it can charge it overtime. The cable is fairly long so you do not have to worry about not having enough slack. It does have grip on the bottom so you can put this on your hood if you need to and it will not slide. It does a good job keeping my parents battery charged so they do not have to worry about turning the car every time. With clamps, handle as if they are live to ensure you safety. I always clamp BEFORE turning the device on just to avoid any issues. Overall this device is not too bad. I like that it is a nice design but I wish the clamp wires could have a place to wrap and organize it and not just hang off the back. The device is pretty easy to use and keeps my car battery charged without needing to turn my engine on.

Great charger. I have several other chargers but I needed a 24Volt one for my boat batteries. Lightweight and powerful with automatic settings. I really like the cord management part.....there is a spot to wrap the cord and then put the clamps on for neat storage. The graphic display is also nice. I left it on my batteries for days and the unit knows how to be a tender and adjusts output as needed so it doesn't overcharge your batteries. would buy again and probably will buy another since I have two banks and want to charge both for winter storage.

This charger works great - easy to change the output amps between a high, medium or low. The screen provides a clear visual indicator of approximately how full the battery is charged, and it displays clearly cycles showing data like the amps being output, the total amp hours provided, etc. As the batteries near fully charged the charger sounds different as the fans slow down and the amps output reduce. This is a great way to hear the approaching completion of charging. Once fully charged, the screen changes to FUL to indicate the batteries are full, however, all of the great data is also lost, like the amp hours charged. The clamps are a generally good size and grip the battery posts well, but one time we were moving the charger and the clamp fell off the battery. The charger responded appropriately by ceasing charging, but the reset of the charging data also meant we couldn’t accurately predict how many AH were remaining. I wish the screen would still show the prior job’s AHs when complete. There is also apparently not a way to power off the charger. It has a single button which selects the charge rate (amps), but holding it in cycles the max output rate, but doesn’t turn off the device. Volts and other details are all auto detected. The clamps are decent quality. The wire feels a bit thin, but adequate. I wish the clamps would detach via a SAE connector to allow the charger to be more easily connected to different setups. We had another brand of charger (not as powerful) where we could leave the wires attached to the installed battery and simply disconnect/connect the plug from the charger when needed. Overall, although it falls short in a few “nice to haves” I’d recommend this charger.

This battery charger is easy to use because it senses the type of battery connected for charging. Then it evaluates the condition of the battery and charges it to protect the life of the battery. It has a long cord for the charger to function without removing the battery. The value is great for functionality of this charger.
