The media could not be loaded. This is by no means a safe that could prevent bad guys from stealing your stuff. Its inexpensive but has many features. Fingerprint Reader, built in light, pin codes, physical key lock, and even a emergency battery pack to plug in the front incase the internal batteries go dead. All the material is thin metal like a filing cabinet except for the door with the locks. It took me about 90 minutes to assemble it by myself. A 2nd person would be helpful. Also highly recommend the following: Electric screw driver with magnetic tips (the sheet metal screws are small and you need to torque them. a magnetic flashlight (everything is black including the screws) a cup or two to hold all the screws and washers. Its more than enough to keep your firearms secured from your kids and house guests. Its not fire proof. I was able to secure about 12 rifles & shotguns and about 12 pistols and some ammo.

This is nothing more than a glorified filing cabinet. The metal is extremely thin, when put together there is gaps in between. It is very overpriced. I contacted the seller but did not get a response. There was a shipping fee as well. I absolutely do not recommend this to anyone.

Shipped with some miner damage. Fixed with a pare of plyers. Lots of assembly required. Builds into a low level thin wall safe. Great to secure from kids. Not very secure against a hammer and crowbar.

Instructions for assembly are not clear, screw holes not easily accessible, 20 minutes into assembly cursed myself for trying to save money on something not well constructed more of a head scratcher and headache than is good way to save money.

Please note that this review is specifically for the “30 to 40 Gun Large Safe” with the double doors, the most expensive model. There are a number of falsehoods in the description of this item. First, there is NO WAY you can fit “30 to 40” long guns in this “safe” unless you remove the “3 flexibly adjustable or removable gun racks”, pile the rifles in haphazardly, and slam the door before they fall over and spill out. You MIGHT get 7 to 10 long guns inside with any resemblance to the AI generated image in the ad, but not if they have any type of scope or optic and/or a pistol grip. Second, it does NOT have a fingerprint or biometric lock. Biometric locking isn’t even mentioned in the included instruction manual. Third, this is NOT a “safe”, regardless of what the manufacturer/seller calls it. A more accurate description would be “A flimsy, poorly made, lockable cabinet”. And all that was just from the title of the ad! There are a number of other issues and falsehoods, which I’ll list in no particular order. • Construction quality is very poor. • There are a lot of sharp edges. • Several parts/pieces were bent (when they should have been straight) and needed to be pounded back into the proper shape. • Most of the predrilled holes (where you screw two pieces together) didn’t line up or barely lined up. • DO NOT put this on a hardwood floor! After considerable effort pushing, pounding, and hammering to make sure the bottom of the “safe” is perfectly flat, the next step is to install 4 corner braces. The “safe” does NOT rest on the flat bottom, it rests on 16 exposed screw heads! • The moveable shelves (on the left-hand side) will never actually lay flat, because the hangers they rest on don’t line up side-to-side. • Inside the right-hand side door is the box which holds the 4 AA batteries that power the lock. The “internal battery case cover” was not included. Shut that door too hard (or bump the shut door too hard) and the batteries can pop out and fall to the floor of the locked safe. • The description says “Bring your drill—it’s your secret weapon”. Not true… most screws go into a hole that is right up against a perpendicular piece of metal, there is no room for a drill. A long, skinny ratcheting screwdriver works much better. Your “secret weapon” will be patience, a rubber mallet, and wide array of swear words. And perhaps alcohol. • The 3 foam “guns racks” attach to the interior walls with magnets. Very weak magnets! These racks can slide down or fall off under their own weight. Even better… the foam is only weakly glued to the magnet, and sometimes the foam rack will fall off while the magnet stays in place (but try these instead https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG172Z24?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) • Somewhere they recommend using 2 people to assemble this monstrosity. FALSE… what good is TWO sweaty, frustrated, cursing people working in a cramped space full of sharp edges? Just do it yourself and try not to curse too loudly. • Don’t put anything in the “safe” and lock it up for the first day or two. Open it and look on the interior floor. Now you get to play a few exciting rounds of “Where did that screw pop out from?”
