This is a really nice scooter! Putting it together took me a bit longer to do because I feel like the instructions weren’t really clear. There were extra pieces of hardware and I wasn’t sure if I was missing them somewhere or if it was just extra in case you lost some. Anyhow, I got it together and my granddaughter loves it! She is 7 years old and has had some scooter experience. I feel like that helped her with this one because it does have a different feel with that front end due to the steering mechanism on it. The steering can be adjusted to tighten the play in it or to loosen it depending on the rider’s capability. For my granddaughter, still a novice, I tightened them up somewhat so that it would be easier to steer. That worked well for her. I am assuming that once she gets better at it, she can ride with them looser. This scooter goes very fast and when rolling, the wheels light up. Much easier to see this in the low light but it can also be seen in daylight. The wheels run smoothly and the board is large enough to place both feet on sufficiently with room to spare. The handle bars have nice gripper covers on them. There is a set screw half way down on the steering so that it can be adjusted for size depending on the child’s size. We put it at the half way mark for our granddaughter and this worked well. She has room to grow with it. FYI: The stickers on the scooter in the pictures do not come with the scooter. My Granddaughter personalized it a bit.

Some assembly required. Reinforced square tube stealframe. Solid little scooter, once you go through an adjust what they had started to put together. The front wheels come kinda out together. I see where they were going, the suspension needs to be free to move but nothing was uniform about what they had assembled. Either put it together or just let me do it. Once it's together though, it's a solid coll little scooter. Good quality wheels that light up. Bearings could be better but I've seen worse. Rides smooth enough. Steers well and my daughter loved it. Bright vivid neon pink color on the well made quality deck.got a bit of weight to it, I'd say between 5 and 10 lbs. But, solid construction comes with a little girth. Very nice sping loaded front head that takes a good bit of force to disengage, I like that. Over all it's a solid quality scooter that with a few tweaks (bolt adjustment and bearings)would be an excellent long lasting scooter. Very good value and quality. Let me know if this helps.

My kids love walking around the neighborhood. My youngest already had a scooter with light-up wheels that was gifted to him, and of course my oldest wanted one too. I originally planned to wait until his birthday, but when I saw this one I decided to give it a try. My husband assembled it, I initially thought it would be as simple as attaching the wheels, but it turned out to be a bit more complicated. He had trouble finding the instructions at first because they were tucked into one of the box flaps, which made them easy to miss. Once it was put together and ready to go, the kids were thrilled and have been using it ever since. We go on daily walks, and this scooter has quickly become a favorite. I weigh around 150 lbs and even took it for a quick ride myself, it felt sturdy and safe, which reassures me even more since my 60 lb son rides it regularly. It’s easy to maneuver, and the wheels light up once you pick up speed, which the kids love. The rear brake is also very useful for sudden stops or when they hit small cracks in the sidewalk. Even my 40 lb son enjoys it, and now they happily take turns with their scooters. If your kids love being outdoors and staying active, I would definitely recommend this scooter.

Especially if you use a coupon getting it around 30, scooter seems to be made decently. Everything fit together well and the majority of the frame and parts are metal. Even though I bought it for my 4 and 6-year-olds I even tried riding it around a little at 175 lb and it did not seem to flex or struggle under my weight. The front wheels are smaller than a different Amazon scooter purchased a year ago but that one also had more plastic in its frame. The bearings aren't great, it definitely doesn't roll as smoothly as others so cost cutting was done here. The scooter sticker on the front comes off quite easy if you don't want it there as well. I did go through all the bolts and made sure they were all tightened enough I would recommend doing that as well.
