I have had this for a few months now, and it has held its color! We have constant sun in AZ and it has not lost its color. The wood portion, does not hold up as well to the dry desert, but overall held up well.

The hammock broke after a month. Thankfully no one was hurt, but after this I'd steer clear - hammock-related injuries are no joke. Before that it was comfortable and reasonably attractive. The fabric is absorbent so don't let it get wet if you can reasonably avoid it.
