First, the good news: it's a wonderful two-person hot tub. Powerful jets, it delivers exactly what I want in a hot tub. So, why not five stars? Service, and documentation. Tracking showed it arrived in town one week early. Buried in the last tracking update was the fact that it was transferred to local transportation for delivery. This company made no updates. The hot tub was delivered four days early while I was out running errands. It was dropped off in the middle of the driveway - no parking inside until it got moved, which happened three days later. Documentation #1. A 240V/40A fuse was previously installed on the house fuse panel. Hot tub documents do not say that a separate box and fuse must also be installed at the hot tub. Documentation #2. The newly wired hot tub kept tripping the breaker. That is because the wiring diagram inside the service panel is incomplete. The company sent the right one, but it required a second paid visit from the electrician. Documentation #3. There are no model numbers annotated for a replacement filter. Contacted the company three days ago - no response, so I guess basic customer service has ended. For nearly $4K, I expected a little more attention to basic details. Two weeks in, it's running great.
