I am an amateur beekeeper and just used this suit for the first time yesterday, and the second time today. It is absolutely wonderful and designed with intelligence. Very good airflow. Very light weight. Very comfortable. 🐝ing new to 🐝 keeping I was worried about stings, but 3 minutes into my first experience I never thought about it again. Very secure 🐝 suit. I am 5'8" (and a half), and about 165-175lbs. I ordered a large and it fit just right. The legs are long enough to tuck into my shoes. If I was a little taller I might have gone a size up cause this fits just right. The gloves are a good deal too big on me, and cause issues with the finger tips going past my fingers. But I have relatively small hands, so this isn't surprising. Would be nice if I could have gotten a separate size gloves with the set. Awesome that it has two veils for the suit. I haven't decided which I like better, but so far it's the full wrap around veil. Not the fencing veil. I look forward to many years of using this suit. As a new beekeeper I have been trying to learn how and when I need to wear protection. I’m am lazy and didn’t want to take the time to put on a suit every time I needed to get into the hive but after several stings in one day and a adverse reaction, the decision was made that I really need to wear protective gear most of the time when dealing with them. After researching for days, I decided on this product because it checked the most boxes for my needs. First off I did not want a white suit which is the majority of what is sold ( white for outdoors is all around bad for me ). That narrowed down my choices by a lot so then it was based on how secure the suit was ( closures, fabric, etc.) This suit has zippers and Velcro on the wrists, ankles, and the main front entry which is super nice to secure the end of the zipper holes from sneaky bees getting in. The price point was a little higher for this suit but it is definitely worth it in my opinion and it is still less than other high end suit that are probably very similar in quality and durability. It is decently lightweight and has good ventilation. I didn’t notice any funny smells other than what would be expected from a new garment wrapped in plastic in a plastic storage bag. I did follow the sizing recommendations of ordering the size according to your height or the largest of what is needed. I’m almost 6’ but only weight 145 ish and bought an XL because I needed the length in the legs. Although it’s baggy I don’t mind because I get air Flo through it and can layer if needed. It seems to be a great suit for my needs and I am extremely happy with it so far. ... show more

The suit is very breathable and light for how much distance it gives in thickness. Donning and doffing can be difficult but I think it is user error. Head protection is moderate compared to the body, fence veil needs a baseball cap to keep it off the front of the face but my jaw was constantly hitting the front when I looked down. Back of head protection is good, ears feel like I was hitting either one side or the other but overall I think that it is good quality for what I paid. The round veil is very small almost kid sized and I genuinely prefer round veils to fencing ones and still chose the fencing one that was included. Overall it was a great replacement for my old suit and I think only buying in person and trying it on would have made the experience better. ... show more

It fits very baggy in the butt! But I had returned a competitor product for being too short in the crotch and being EXTREMELY wearable. This is relatively easy to put on, does allow for ventilation, though I’m in Texas and it’s just flat hot, no matter what. Elastic keeps legs in place, plenty of room to not be binding but I think mine is a like too big and I should have ordered a size smaller than I really wear, I think. I just kept out out of aggravation from previous purchases, but I’m happy enough with this one. No stings. I love the ability to open the veil. Lots of useful and thoughtful pockets. Manufacturing quality was just fine. I would order this brand again, if needed. I ordered the white one just cuz I couldn’t decide. Zippers operate smoothly, but watch your hair! Appearance…it looks like I’m wearing a borrowed suit from someone else that really doesn’t fit but who sees me…? It’s comfy! Who cares! Washed it twice already in the machine gently. I bought this as a new bee keeper and im not disappointed one bit with my purchase The suit is NOT a lightweight suit. It should hold up very well with tight stitched seams and METAL YYK zippers. I will say i did head others review on to order at least one to two sizes larger than you are,, I am 5-9 and 195 pounds and i ordered an 2xl,, i have enough room for a sweatshirt under it but it is not too loose without it on, so again order accordingly. I like the fact that it came complete with gloves and an extra mesh mask ( of a different style) . I looked at many suits and by far this was the best value for a full suit as others did not included gloves or extra mask which purchased in addition would have far exceeded the cost of this item. Also the suit being 3 layer is ventilated mesh so even the slightest breeze easily passes through it. the extra padding on the knees and elbows was a nice addition when you need to kneel down and do some work. the big plus for this suit is that it is also safe to use for wasps as i live in the country and have to remove the occasional wasp nests. the ultimate decision is up to you of course but I would have no problem purchasing the suit again for another family member or recommending it to a friend if they want a full body protection suit. ... show more
