I have had this for a few month. It is a really great walking pad. I works great with the stand up or down and I like having physical buttons incase the remote gets lost or broken. (lesson I learned from a friend) I'm 6'6" and currently 260ils. I got this when I was around 300lbs and it has worked flawlessly for me. It took a bit to get use to the smaller than ideal (for my size) tread belt width. My wife loves it too (she is 6'), and it is easy to move from room to room. It has held up so far with out any issues with both of use using it, seems to be very durable. It is a great size and easy to store. It works very smoothly and can be controlled with the app or remote and the actual buttons on it. That alone is worth the upgrade, since it can be used with the arms down or up. The app is a lot of fun too. But the absolute best part is being able to use it with my sit/stand desk. Makes hours at the desk mean something more and keeps me moving. I use it while working, playing games, or just cruising the web. It is a worth while investment for hours at a desk or just want to get the steps in when outside isn't an option. ... show more

I was looking at walking pads for the last year or more, but was wary because the most exercise I get is walking up the stairs to my second-story office. But, I'm over 50 and the doctors all say I could turn things around if I got some exercise. I'm not a fan of the outdoors, being very a sun-adverse introvert, but I do enjoy walking, so I decided to give a walking pad a try and I'm not disappointed. The little phone holder is not much higher than my waist, so I also bought a gooseneck tablet holder and a page-turner ring and my little set up is pretty sweet. I jump on the walking pad, start reading, and the next thing I know I've walked a mile or more! Take that, doctors! Set-up was basically non-existent, since it comes fully assembled in the box. I followed the advice of some of the other reviews and oiled the walking pad well and let it run for a bit before trying it out. The sound of the motor is non-existent, but there is a little bit of a whooshing/rubbing noise, nothing that distracts from reading. I walk with the handle in the upright position, just to have something to grab onto if I need it, but it's nice to have the controls on the top of the bar for easy adjustments rather than having to hold onto the remote. Yes, the beeps before it starts are annoying, but I quickly forget about them. I love that this walking pad has a little more length, I'm 5' 10" and was worried I'd walk off the back. I do wish it was wider, as I sometimes find myself walking on the edges of the track if I'm not careful, but it's easy to readjust and keep going. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and I know my doctors will be as well. ... show more

The treadmill will randomly shut off with "SAFE" displayed on the screen. Sometimes after 1 minute of walking, sometimes after 30. It doesn't seem to matter how slow or fast it's going. It doesn't matter that the magnetic safety pin is always secured in the exact same position. I tried multiple outlets in different rooms thinking something may have been wrong with my power. It's possible this could be resolved by updating the firmware. Unfortunately the only way to do so is through their garbage PitPat app, the QR code of which is plastered all over the treadmill and manual like next to lines of questionable grammar. When trying to connect the device in the app a popup eventually covers the screen telling me that the device version is too low. Clicking "upgrade" has a 50% chance of disconnecting the treadmill's bluetooth and kicking me back out to the beginning. If I make it past this I have to enter my wifi's password, which fails after a few seconds with a generic message about the device being compatible only with 2.4Ghz networks or that the bluetooth possibly failed again. I have other devices connecting to 2.4Ghz on my wifi so this is not the issue. I also tried moving the treadmill directly beside my router with no luck. At best this treadmill is a crapshoot. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a working one. But considering the hassle of returning something this bulky, I'd suggest going with a more reliable product and not taking the risk. ... show more

This is a great treadmill. Super easy to use, not a lot of bells and whistles, which I like. I just wanted a simple, easy to use treadmill that I could walk on everyday. It doesn’t take up too much space, and can easily be hidden away if we have company. The only thing I wish for (a very small thing) was that the remote had a pause feature. Instead, it stops the pad and erases your progress. Now for the customer support. Earlier this month, the motor of my treadmill gave out, so I contacted DeerRun support to see about getting a new one. Everyone on the team was super kind and very helpful with getting me my new machine. And it arrived extremely quickly, too! I highly recommend this company and their treadmills. ... show more

**UPDATE** I was able to get the treadmill to connect on my iPad, now that it's able to connect and was updated, it works perfectly! On the fence about this one. On one hand, it's lightweight yet sturdy and quiet with good speed settings. However, I can't get it to connect to the app. I've been using this treadmill for a few days and keep having issues where it stops, mid use, with the SAFE code, even though the safety clips is firmly in place. If I could get it to stop doing that, it'd be 5 stars lol. But it's dangerous when it abruptly stops like that mid use.. ... show more
