Overall, I like this better than a manual model I had. However, if you use it with a brush on the end, the suction is weak at the brush. If I use it without a brush, suction is good at the solid end. I noticed that when using the brush on some fine bottom silt, a silty water cloud would form, and not all of it would be sucked in. If I could leave a negative star I would. This product is terrible. It barely has any suction and doesn't pick up the sand in the hot tub. Whatever it does pick up it spits back out. Do not order this one!

This pool vacuum is compact and more suitable for cleaning the Jacuzzi by the pool. It automatically starts when submerged and effectively picks up fine debris from the bottom of the pool. This worked excellent for my hot tub. We usually end up with tiny little pebbles for whatever reason in the bottom of our tub. This pulled them up with out any struggle!
