I wanted an inexpensive cleaner to ‘spot clean’ sections of the pool where the Polaris doesn’t always get to, and I don’t feel like sweeping the mess to where the Polaris likes to find things (the deep end). gotta be the worst piece of junk , sucks the dirt and spits it out the side , what's the point , just moves the dirt around , I thought it would be a great idea for my spa , save your money . im returning it after 15 min of use , i knew it was a mistake when i saw the box , tiny box compared to the way the picture looked .

Got my wife one of those inflatable hot tubs. Bought this vacuum because it has attachments so I can get in between the air bubble pocket and the sidewall to get the sand/dirt out of there. Totally worked out great. I don't know what I was expecting, but its damn near quiet, could use a bit more suction power. The other brand is have is much louder, but couldnt get into the smaller spaces I need to attend, and didn't have any attachments. This one works better than I expected though. Worth a shot. Gave it 4 stars, even though it did the job just fine, just wish it was a bit stronger.

This thing is priceless. After dealing with those others that you have to hook to the hose, this makes it a breeze to clean out my pool. It doesn't stir up stuff it just gets it out. Have to clean the canister out every so often but that's okay it's easily done.

Did not work at all for me. It came on, and seemed to be working properly, but I couldn't get it to pick up anything from the bottom of the pool.

Its function is simple. The suction is mild and limited to sand and dirt. Small particles can be easily removed. The pole is about 6 feet and not long enough for anything greater than 4 feet deep. You’ll have to bend over all of the while making it uncomfortable to use and move around. It automatically turns on when you insert it into the water and turns off when you remove it. The impeller is very small and with that comes light suction. Don’t expect to get a perfectly clean pool. This will help keep the minor buildup of sand and dirt controlled.

I think it works great for a little bit of larger debris. But not good for picking up algae. Algae goes in and it shoots it right back out. Still think over all it was a good buy.

I am very disappointed in this unit. The suction is not strong enough. The filter gets clogged with very little debris and doesn't pick up much after. You have to continuously stop, take it apart and clean it off. The attachments do not allow larger botanical items in while in use. The functionality is not what I was expecting. I will order a different one and hope it works better. Not a good value for the money...😞
