It is not very easy to lift up when in bed. We ended up not using it because our bed is medium firm and when you push on the edge there is a gap with weight. It does take up a good amount of space on the bed but we have a Cali king so it’s not that bad. It keeps my baby close so he can still sense me and stays asleep and it allows me easy access to him if he needs anything which I love. This on bed bassinet is great for those like me who want to practice co-sleeping without having to worry about accidentally putting a pillow or blanket on the baby. The baby sleep comfortably on the bed away from your hussle. Its built quite well and does not move one installed correctly. Only caveat is that it takes up a sizeable space on your bed.
