Well made units. Everything worked as advertised. Great light output. Rechargeable Batteries a definite plus. Good battery life, can really extend if using a lower brightness setting. Really liked the color temperature and dimmer adjustments. The lights remember the color and dimmer settings when used in motion detection mode. The mounting tape really sticks, make sure of where you want the metal strip to be placed. As an alternative, I used some "Command" mounting strips which made it so much easier. I love them. They're magnetic and give off plenty of light. So bright. So helpful in our dark apartment. Recommended to many people. I’d give 5 stars, unfortunately the switch goes bad after about a year which makes them useless. I bought 2 packs (four lights total) in early 2023. One of the lights had a faulty switch. I wasn’t too worried about it and gave it to the husband for his hobbies. He was able to charge and use when he needed it. It would stay on until it lost its power. We just put it in a closet at night - it was dead by morning. Early 2024, the rest of them started having problems with the switch. There are 3 settings: on, off, and motion detection. We keep the settings on motion for the kitchen at night. The lights started staying on - no matter what setting. . . If I turn them ‘off, they stay on constantly. If I turn on ‘motion, they stay on constantly. They stay on all day until the charge dies. When I plug them in, they turn on - so bright, until the charge runs out. No more option for ‘motion detection. No more option to turn off. Just ON - only while plugged in - or until the charge dies. They are VERY BRIGHT. Too bright to have on constantly. I threw them in the trash. Will order more from a different company ... show more

Can't recommend these lights! Firstly, they do not hold a charge. It's a little frustrating to pull down and put on your countertop to charge every other day. My second let-down with this item is that the sensors do not work. It's kind of random when the decide to detect movement or not.. I'm not sure where these would be good for use, maybe in a storage closet or something. Definitely not good for us in kitchen! I'm floored that they have good reviews from other buyers. ... show more
