    • Perfect Replacement
I bought this to replace the battery in the remote control for a drone. I just had to cut the connector off and solder the wires into the circuit board in the remote. It only took about 10 minutes and it works perfectly now.

    • Very low actual discharge rating ( .5-1C MAX)
Bought a couple of these for a micro quadcopter, figuring that since it was listed as "high discharge" and that it listed "mini helicopter" in the list of appropriate uses that It might work out. Got it installed in the quad, charged, and it flew for about 15 seconds before the low voltage circuit kicked in. Checked the voltage and it was 4.12 with the motors not running. It dropped almost instantly to 3.25 volts when the motors were just started. I took the battery back out, hooked it up to my lab equipment, topped it off and attempted to discharge at 400 mA (5C), however that was too much. backed it off to 80mA and it seemed ok.... So this is NOT EVEN CLOSE to a "high discharge" battery! This is more of a .5C to 1C discharge rate type battery and totally wrong for any kind of application like a micro quad or other R/C vehicle, even though it is listed as such.
