I used this for a big volume, long print and everything turned out great. However, this filament color is muted compared to the example pictures. It's also not nearly as shiny.

After drying for 8 hours I made a small vase using "vase mode". The color changed only once. However, I made a large one and the overall result was nice. Not too bright, just enough rainbow color to make interesting.

I was using a 0.4mm nozzle and kept getting clogs. After constantly checking and playing with temp settings with little success, I switched to a 0.6mm nozzle. Works so much better. Obviously quality of print will be affected so if that doesn’t matter no problem

If you're just now getting into 3d printing, this is a cheap alternative to some higher quality filament. The prints aren't top tier, but they're not awful either. Its decent quality that gives you a pretty sturdy print.

I find that people love the color changing filament over solid colors. Especially for articulating "toys". The colors look good and it is just a strong as any PLA. It really does look good though. Will by again.

I wish the color change wasn't as long. for smaller projects you will end up with 1-2 colors, the length of the filament/color should be shortened to enhance the color change. other than that works fine and shiny.

I came very close to returning this for another brand. But then on reading the reviews for other brands I found the same complaints I had about this one for all the silk PLA filament on Amazon. So I decided to hobble along with this stuff instead. There were two big problems I encountered: 1. The filament, new out of the vacuum bag, was cracking and popping and stringy when printing. I dried it out in my food dehydrator and that eliminated that problem. I've never seen brand new filament be so moisture ridden like this! But drying it out did work! 2. The filament kept breaking at the drive gears inside the extruder of my prusa. It looked like the gears had ground it in half (see photo). It was only doing it on really long running prints, and only at a stage in the print when there was fine detail. My guess is that it had to do with a lot of repeated retractions. For this I did three things: A) shorten the duration of the print B) reduce the retraction speed by about half C) loosen the tension screw holding the drive gears together.
