So i should start this review by sharing i have reached out to the seller to share some feedback on the adaptors and may well revise this review depending on the response i get. So i got these lights to go inside a cabinet to display some old fashioned China i inherited from my parents. Once i got through the drilling i had to do to fit the USB plug through followed by the rather large on/off/brightness adjuster i was ready to test them. First thoughts super bright, and awesome options for lowering on increasing the brightness, also great value and i loved the fact that these were different power adaptors so i could install one in each side of the cabinet. Now for the issues i ran into, after leaving these running for around 2 hours at around 80% brightness one of the units started flickering on and off, at first i thought it may be a loose connection but no it was fully pushed in to the adaptor, then i realized that i had a read a review from another buyer on here saying these adaptors were under powered and get too hot, these were so hot to the touch it felt like if i left them on any longer they might burn my hand if i touched them. I checked the other one and that was working but still running too hot in my opinion. I decided to switch out the non working one for a 5v cube usb adaptor that i purchased on Amazon yesterday, I left both lights running overnight and when i woke up the one supplied by this company was running too hot, the 5v one from amazon was cool to the touch so i swapped the 2nd adaptor out and after running that for around 5 hours now its also cool to the touch. Overheating adaptors are one thing, adaptors that do not work are a totally different thing, i should not have to pay out of my own pocket to make a product work right out the box. So i would say yes these are great lights, but be prepared to swap out the adaptor plugs. Update to this review as of March 24th 2026 Seller reached out very quickly and shared some good insight into the power adaptors, they also did make things right and you cannot ask for more than that from a seller, which made a customer out of me because i purchased another set.
