These are excellent units and are working very well. I fear that interaction without a paid subscription will be limited, but they work fine and were very easy to install. I'd like to be able to enlarge and zoom in, but haven't learned these functions yet. They are very nice units.

The camera is okay. The resolution is good, it could use some work when a subject is backlit (even in moderate light, the camera has issues if there is any light in the background. The two issues I have with this camera are the App and the requirement to use the cloud service to get longer videos. The camera does have the capability of local memory storage, however, it only stores 10 seconds of video on local storage and doesn't give the ability to add extra time. If it's necessary to have video that is longer than 10 seconds the cloud service must be used, and the cloud services requires a paid subscription. Second, the app really needs work. The app is clunky, it doesn't have a really good interface. There are features that other cameras have such as the ability to take a snapshot every 10 minutes or so. The app seems to trigger on a lot of stuff, and it gets a lot wrong. For example, this camera is installed on the side of my house. If the far background you can see a car, but it's over 150 feet from the camera. Every so often I get an alert that a car is moving. I have yet to see the car move when the alert is triggered. The car does move from time to time, but the camera doesn't alert when the actual car moves. I did see a lizard on one video, may be the camera is triggering on small wildlife. I'm still trying to figure out how to get this app to work for me. The solar panel works well. The camera is installed on the east side of my house so it is in the shade most of the day, but the camera seems to be fully charged when I look at it. If I have this camera in the winter it will be interesting to see if this happens in the winter months. I purchased this camera by mistake, I thought I was clicking on a Tapo camera (I'll blame Amazon for this. My search was for Tapo cameras, and this camera popped up. I really should have looked at the camera more closely but I didn't.) The reason I was looking to purchase a Tapo camera is that I currently have three different cameras in my home (purchased or gifted to me over several years) - Tapo, Ring, and Blink, and I was trying to go to one brand, and I picked Tapo. I really cannot return the camera because I installed it outdoors and I used some adhesive to help waterproof the mounting. I didn't realize this wasn't a Tapo camera until I went to add it to my app. This is my fault, but I'm not going to let Amazon off so quickly (when one searches for a specific brand name, if other brands are shown, the app should point this out in some way). I did purchase other Tapo cameras and I'll continue to replace my ring and blink cameras. I'll give this camera another few months, but If I still don't like it, I'll replace this with a Tapo camera. This is an edit of the above. I did find a feature in the app that allows longer videos to be stored on the SD memory. I enabled this today and set it to record 2 minutes of video when the camera detected motion. In my testing, I'm only seeing short videos of 10 to 12 seconds, but I'll check this over the next few days. If this feature does work, I'll modify my comment above. I still have other issues with the app, but I may have made a mistake with this one feature.
