This is a great beginner's guitar. For the price, you get what you get. However, you can easily upgrade later! Simply put, this is a guitar with the understanding that it is for beginners. The Amp - The amp is a friendly practice amp. You turn it on, and sounds come out. You can toggle with the bass, treble, and drive. For a beginner guitarist, that is fine! Of course, I plugged the guitar into a much professional amp, and the guitar sounded great! The Cable - Plugs, no crackling or pops while playing. What is there to complain about? The Neckstrap - The neck strap holds the guitar and prevents the guitar from falling when you are playing. The strap quality is, of course, cheap, but it 100% does what it is made to do. Though I would recommend getting some soft safety locks. The Tuner - The turner comes in three settings. It stays true to guitar tuning, and I've never had a problem with it. Just make sure that you hold down the button to turn it off; otherwise, you will change it to a new setting, and then next time you tune your guitar, you will get confused! (For beginners). If you do, click the button until you get to the standard tuning mode. The Whammy Bar - Cheap whammy bar but does what any quality whammy bar would do! The Guitar - The guitar is VERY lightweight. Out of the box, it needs to be tuned. I played it as is, and it sounded great for what it was. I did adjust the pickups, but the neck well pretty well adjusted. The feel of the guitar does feel the lower quality from a more expensive guitar (but in my opinion, it's what the guitar sounds like that is important). The frets, neck, and bridge were fine as they were, and I enjoyed playing this beginner's guitar! VERDICT - I got this guitar as a beat-up and travel guitar. I also got it to practice my modding skills (I rather practice on a cheap guitar rather than an expensive one!). For a beginner, this is an excellent guitar! When playing it, I played it for long periods and did not want to put it down! I've been playing for quite a while, so knowing this, this is a good guitar to start your musical journey! Save your money to get your dream guitar sooner!! For an experienced guitarist, this is an excellent beat-up guitar or to practice any modding. It's a fun guitar to play as long as you know exactly what you are getting. If you have high standards, then, of course, this is not going to be for you. But even for a low-quality guitar, it's still much fun to play and fool around with. KEEP THIS IN MIND - Sometimes, these cheap guitars do have flaws. I got a great model of this guitar, but I have experience getting these affordable models and have found flaws. I would then ask for a new one (same model) and then find the next would be flawless. That's why it's more practical to go into a store and see the exact one you are getting. In any case, don't get discouraged and ask for a new one.

I recently purchased this guitar 🎸 and really enjoyed while playing it. The key notes I like about this guitar. Price point: it's cheap but amazing at this price tag. Quality Build: The guitar itself is of excellent quality with a full-size design that feels comfortable to play. The finish is smooth, and the materials used seem durable. Easy to Tune: The digital tuner included in the package is user-friendly and helped me quickly get the guitar in tune, even as a beginner. Overall, the LyxPro Electric Guitar Starter kit exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic option for beginners who want a quality instrument with all the necessary accessories. I'm looking forward to honing my skills with this kit.

I have only played acoustic guitar and thought it would be fun to try an electric. There are several Fender Stratocaster type guitars out there and so I looked through the descriptions and read the reviews. This guitar package was highly rated by a lot of reviewers and I liked the idea of having a package with guitar and amp combination. This was actually my second one of these, the first one was delivered in a tattered box and the amp had been stolen out of it. I got in touch with the seller and he directed me to Amazon since they fulfilled the order. They were very good about getting me a replacement and having UPS pick up the first one, although they were shocked at the condition of the box. I told the driver this should never have been delivered, but that's another story. So, back to the package itself. Even the good reviews said the strings were bad and the pickups should be replaced. I don't know about the pickups, but the strings were definitely bad. I kept trying to tune it, and 10 minutes later it would be out of tune. It took me several days to finally get the strings to settle down, and then I discovered that the frets were not placed properly. The 12th fret is supposed to be an octave above the open string, and on this guitar it was no where near that. Plus, the strings were all at different heights, so it was a nightmare to tune. At that point, I decided I would return this one and get a different brand. Now, in terms of the look and feel of the guitar itself, the edges of the frets were not rough and the finish was nice, it just wasn't built well. The little 20 W amp is a whole different story, because it was great. One of the reasons I got this package instead of some others is that some had toy amps that were the size of a coffee cup. This amp was nice, solidly built and actually sounded good. I'm not a professional muscian, but it didn't pop or hum, and the controls worked well. I really hated to give that amp up, but it was part of the package. Overall, I might have received a bad guitar but after two deliveries I was just not ready to try again. Plus, there are other options out there, and I see no reason to buy even a cheap guitar that you have to put different strings on and maybe pickups. You might as well spend a little more and get a higher quality package. That's what I eventually did, I went with the Donner package, which was about $15 more; however, they had a $15 coupon, so it turned out to be the same price. The Donner guitar was much better and I don't need to replace the strings right away. I'll do a review of that one after I've had a chance to play it, but as far as the Lyx, I just can't recommend it.
