Because they only need one power source, CanBus boxes seem to be dormant, but on certain models, they are required for steering wheel controls, door open alerts, and backup camera switching. Every installation component is included. Steering controls can be used with Canbus. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase additional parts if you have a Bose stereo system. There is a backup camera, but in order to use it, you will need to run a wire to the back. This device comes with an OEM harness, which is uncommon in these units, so you may use it if you have a factory. All things considered, it is a strong, stylish addition that gives an outdated truck a contemporary feel. This is a great choice if you are considering giving your Sierra or Silverado a fresh lease on life. This radio is more than double din. It includes the trim kit needed to fit into a Silverado dash's standard doube din hole. Despite being above the trim and outside of it, the radio face appears to have been installed from the factory. Functionality is super easy. The speed for the system is pretty responsive.
