Safe seems really nice, easy to use. Needs to initially be opened with external battery pack. Simple instructions to configure fingerprint and code. Here’s where the two stars come in, deplorable customer service. The keys to manually open my safe do not work. Speaking to someone over the phone is not an option. Communication is done via “live” chat, with very slow responses. Additionally, they appear to be very eager to end and conversation without providing much, if any, assistance. If communicating via email, you can expect one response from them per day, if you’re lucky. Probably a 5 star review if the keys worked and I didn’t have to deal with customer service.     • Biometric Safe Opening just Opens for anyone who touches it
I purchased a Biometric Safe in January 2021. I immediately set up the fingerprint opening mechanism. I have used it all of these months thinking that the Biometric Fingerprint opened the safe FINE. Last week I asked my brother to open the safe using the safe code, but he tried his finger print instead. It OPENED at first try. I didn't believe it so I tried all of my fingers and it opened up for EACH FINGER, So then I went through the complete setup procedure including removing the batteries and replacing them. Even WITHOUT going through the procedure to set up a finger print, it still opened on the first try with all of my Fingers, and with ALL of my brothers fingers. How I have a complete piece of JUNK because ANYONE with a finger can get into my safe. ... show more

Update: Customer service responded to my email within 1 day! They sent me a detailed video of this product showing how it is to be programmed. Now everything works like a charm and I now know what the battery box is for and where to plug it in. Only giving it 4 stars because of the work instructions not being detailed enough with photos. I hope they improve this to better guide future customers. 4 STARS! ... show more

Bought and used this safe for about 1-year when the finger print biometric and the key pad would no longer unlock the safe. I contacted the factory on what to do and they informed me I was past the 90-day warranty and recommended hiring a locksmith to come and see if they could unlock. My handguns were stuck inside. Service call estimate was more than I paid for the safe so I used my hand grinder to cut the safe open. The safe is now scrap iron. I would not recommend buying any safe from 2A4Life. ... show more

The safe is disappointing. Less sturdy than I expected for the price. I had an issue and e-mailed with their “customer service”. Merelyn, the person in Customer Service, sent a response. She lacked the ability to properly deal with my issue. I was ‘ghosted’ after requesting to speak with a Supervisor. That was over a week ago. So beware, this sub-par product is non-refundable!
