We have a 9 gallon Master Gardener battery sprayer from Valley Industries and we like it. However, the OEM plastic handle split completely down the middle. Aaargh. This replacement fit perfectly in the 3/8" plastic tubing and it appears that we got lucky with the barb sizing based on other reviews here. We chose this particular replacement over several similar items because of the larger spray handle. Unfortunately the handle is still plastic, but it's definitely better engineered than our original part that died after less than 6 months of use. We like the stainless steel wand, stainless nozzle and brass barb fitting, which are all huge improvements over the original OEM parts. However, the nozzle puts out too much spray, which means that we're on the hunt for different nozzles that have more flow restriction. Ideally, we're also looking for a wand that is either all brass or all stainless steel to end the failures of plastic. ... show more

    • Bought this to replace the plastic wand on an HDX 2 gal tank sprayer.
If I could give this replacement wand a 20 gold star rating I would! While the HDX tank itself works perfectly (pressurizes and holds pressure), the plastic wand that comes with it is another story. No matter how I'd adjust the plastic wand I couldn't get a wide mist spray out of it. This replacement wand, though, works perfectly! It is very easy to assemble. Just take the plastic wand off, push the nozzle of this one into the hose and tighten the hose clamp. It even comes with an extra hose clamp and washer (for the spray tip). This replacement wand is easy to adjust the spray and works just like you'd expect it to. And it holds the setting! You can adjust it out to a wide area mist that lets you cover a lot of ground quickly and use far less chemical (very economical). Also, this wand is approximately 6 inches longer. Best $15 you can spend to have your tank sprayer working like it should. ... show more

It works fine. I had to order an additional fitting because this item said it shipped with a 3/8" hose barb but the included fitting was in fact 5/16".

I’m using this on a spray tank I carry around in a utility trailer. Hose length is long enough I can drive and spray at the same time. The spray nozzle really provides a wide variety of spray patterns which you need sometimes. A spray for more coverage and up close up to a stream of liquid to really reach out there for spot spraying. The one thing I really like is the stainless steel wand and nozzle. My last sprayer was aluminum. Since some of the stuff I spray is corrosive- the aluminum did not last. The stainless will. ... show more

Love this wand and desperately tried to get it to work for our 15 gallon sprayer..... Did everything I wanted and perfect for me as a female with a acre of land. Problem the barb we need a 1/2 barb, we liked everywhere, 3 cities we are rural, for one that would work with know luck at all. Vender, please make this a option. Now I passed the 30 day mark. My husband found another wand he likes but does not work for me and I do all the spraying. Go figure! ... show more
