I’m totally dumb at assembly and this was super easy and I did it by myself in 5 minutes. It’s well built and more heavy duty than expected for the price. Loved that it came with bulbs. Love the touch switch and USB plugs to charge phone. Only downside is the lower bulb is very bright and hurts your eyes to look it. The worst part is that the lower light cannot be turned off. You can turn off the top though. I may decide to put a less bright bulb in the bottom if I can’t get used to it. Otherwise very beautiful and sturdy. Matched my decor perfectly too.     • The bottom light burns all the time. It only turns off when the lamp is turned off.

Lamps were fairly easy to assemble. They look great. I guess I should have read the reviews more closely as I didn't realize the bottom light stays on unless the top bulb is turned off. The bottom light hurts my eyes even on the lowest setting so I am going to see if I can find a dimmer bulb to put in it. Lights are nice for the money but I would not have bought these had I known the lower light stays on. ... show more

I was pleased to receive my lamps. I was very pleasantly surprised and they complimented my existing furniture. They were shipped in a small package to prevent any damage. I got some amber bulbs to go with it and the sof lighting is perfect. The bottom dimmer feature is wonderful. Just as a note, I had to order special dimmable amber bulbs that were 2.5 inches in width to fit through the bottom "cage". Other than that, this was a wonderful purchase for me! ... show more
