LORDONE brand - 24V 6000mAh BAT-LTE Lithium-ion Replacement Battery for Snow Joe+Sun Joe 24V Battery Series 24BAT-LTX/LTW/LTE/LT/XR Pro $33.83 The first thing that stands out is just how BEEFY this battery is. It is a 6,000mAh (6Ah) battery and it is THICK. This is the only drawback of higher capacity batteries - they are larger and heavier than their OEM counterparts. But, for my purposes, the weight and size are non-issues (more on that later, see PERFORMANCE section). COMPATIBILITY: This battery seems to be fully compatible with the Snow Joe OEM charger that came with my device. Although this battery is taller and beefier, the connecting pins and housing on the top is identical to OEM which gives it a perfect fit (pic1). CHARGING: It takes longer to charge to 100% but it is NOT due to inferior quality. No. The longer charge time (3 hours) is because this battery has a larger capacity. For reference, my original OEM Snow Joe battery is 4Ah and takes about 2 hours to fully charge in the quick charger. This battery is 50% larger and so it takes 50% longer (1 extra hour) to charge. PERFORMANCE: The reason I got the higher capacity replacement battery is because of how I use the battery. In addition to using this my power tools, I connect this battery into an inverter and use this battery like a power bank. The battery has a surprisingly large capacity which can be calculated by multiplying the amperage (6Ah) times the voltage (24v): 24v x 6Ah = 144 watt•hours For reference, a 6w LED bulb can be powered by this battery through the inverter for 24 hours: 144watt•hours ÷ 6watt= 24hours. Remember when doing the calculations, you must use SI units. That means work in Amp•hours (Ah) not milliamps (mAh). If your battery is rated in mAh, then divide it by 1,000 to convert to Ah. FINAL THOUGHTS: This is an excellent quality replacement battery. Even when the inverter or power tool is draining the battery, this battery provides a constant voltage and doesn't overheat. Only when I run the inverter as the maximum wattage does the battery ever get hot. So far the battery has been very reliable. I recommend this brand.

I'm a little too excited to get this 6Ah battery. On paper, it has 50% more capacity than my original sun joe 24V 4Ah batteries. It should last longer in my power tools, especially my lawn mower and snow blower. When comparing the size, as seen in the photo, it's exactly the same size as my original sun joe 4Ah battery. Hmm. Maybe this one uses high power 18650 cells? Let's find out. What I did was to first completely drain the battery. It's easy, I have a snow joe snow shovel which uses this kind of battery. After cleaning maybe 40 ft of my driveway after a light snow, the battery is completely drained. The shovel simply will not turn on. Ok. Now I have this smart battery meter which can detect how many electricity a particular socket uses during a day. I connect the sun joe charger to this metered socket. Guess what, once the battery is fully charged, I found it only used 0.11KWH of electricity. 110Watt hour divded by 24v, you get 4.6Ah. A little over 4Ah but far cry from 6Ah. So, I can only give this battery 3 stars. It's 6Ah not because it used the very expensive high power 18650 cells, but rather used a "high power" label, thinking consumer won't find out the real capacity.
