This heater heats my mid size room (which includes a small loft open air space) very well. The only problem I have is since it’s light weight it will tip over even if you gently accidentally push it (even while on the docking pad). I wish it had more weight to it

Personally, I find this unit to be not as effective as I was hoping it would be. It's okay if you're heating up a small room and yes these things are very dangerous if you're not careful with them. Avoid putting combustibles near the heat source and it's good practice to not leave this device running unattended. I have been reading a lot of the comments about these damaging your electrical. This is very possible, which is why it's important to update your electrical or have it inspected by a certified electrician at both the receptacle and at the main circuits. (Tighten lose hot (black wire) and neutral (white wire) connections at the circuit breaker, and also tighten any lose connections at the receptacle.) As an apprentice residential electrician I recommend that you inspect your electrical connections prior to using these and I recommend using newer receptacles that can handle up to 20 amps. I have not had any issues since recently changing over to new 15A receptacles. Make sure your receptacles are UL Listed. I have Aluminum wiring at home, and you must be extra careful using something like this at these constant high electrical loads when using AL wiring. AL wiring is fine if you understand how to safely use it. AL Wiring can also expand under high loads, which can loosen at the receptacle, or in your pigtails, and lead to fires. AL wiring must be connected to an Alumiconn, or a WAGO loaded with antioxidant if you are connecting AL wire with Copper wire to prevent the oxidation. (WAGO should be taped tightly shut to prevent levers from opening up) AL Wiring must periodically be inspected every 2-5 years to ensure no oxidation, no expansion on the conductor that could lead to safety problems. ... show more

i don't write reviews often but i really wanted to write one for this heater... i put this in my wishlist back in August because i knew i would need a new space heater for the upcoming fall/winter and in early November it went on sale... anyway: i received it just in time for this year's cold front (2022) and it has not been a disappointment! i use it in my TV room/den: 20'X 60" or so with two big French doors to the outside and one big double entry that i closed off with light-weight curtains (i did this when i bought my portable AC at the beginning of summer)... so far it warms up this room in about 10 minutes and keeps it warm all day; it oscillates without a problem; from delivery to operation took all of 5 minutes (to install the base); very quiet-- comparable to my small air purifier; and this is an old house where the central heating isn't the best (which is why i bought this item)... if you have a larger room, this heater is what you want for the price... i think the larger one (i.e. taller) might be overkill, and the radiant heaters are best for small bedroom/home offices... if anything changes i will be back to update ... show more

The heater was an immediate replacement of one I ordered. The initial other heater arrived broken 😞 so I went back on line and pick this one. I am happy with the product; however, I wish the cord was longer. Nevertheless, the product works well and easy to assemble.
