I did not want to spend a trillion dollars on an accessory (toolbox) from the manufacturer of my ATV, so I was on the hunt for a toolbox I could mount to the hood rack of my ATV. Looked on Amazon. Found this box. They have a crazy selection of sizes, which was great because I needed a black box, metal, water resistant, outdoor use, wide but low profile so as to not hinder view when mounted to hood rack. They had a size that was perfect with all dimensions I needed. I ordered it. When it arrived I was impressed with how well they packaged this toolbox. It had 8 metal corner pieces that held it in the box so that the toolbox corners didn't poke through the cardboard box in shipping. That adds to their cost and I appreciate it. This toolbox is high quality and very sturdy. I've not dumped a bunch of water on it yet, but there is a very good gasket providing a good seal, and the design looks like they took rain into account with how the lid fits to the toolbox when it's closed. I like how when you pull the lever to open the toolbox - the top shoots up via hydraulic - that's sweet! Has 2 keys inside to lock this toolbox up. The only thing I don't know is how it holds up over time. I've only had it a couple of weeks but I'm thinking this thing will do great. Buy this with no hesitation. ... show more

This tool box was a great buy for the money and worked well in the back of my side by side for extra storage. It looks great in the bed. The material is a decent thickness and has held up to the abuse Ive put it through so far for what it is the locking mechanism functions as it should I had no issues with it jamming or anything else. My only complaint is that it needs a thicker bulb seal around the top and sealant around the handle location to keep fine dust out of the tool box. ... show more
