This little Dyson Airwrap Curler-attachment is wonderful. It attaches just like the OEM, doesn't wobble, gets the hair curled in the same amount of time and using the same hand-maneuver followed by holding the unit to wait the right amount of time, and doesn't come off unless I deliberately take it off of the Airwrap, which makes it a perfect travel-option but also a perfect replacement-option. We got this for travel, for the two of us that use the Airwrap, so that we never have to take the OEM out of the house, and it's working just brilliantly. The color is just about identical to the color we chose for our Airwrap, with just the slightest hint of being a tiny bit darker, but only the slightest bit, and it has no flaws that we could find. I ran my fingers over it, all around the entire barrel, and it's got no little nicks or bumps or scratches to worry about catching your hair on or scrape a finger on when packing it away, and then the color is evenly spread with no nicks or gaps in the gray portion or pink portion. Overall, this is a wonderful replacement option, and most especially a wonderful travel option for anyone worried about damaging the OEM on their Airwrap, and it's identical to the original in how it operates, which makes it a budget-friendly option, since it's so much cheaper than a replacement OEM curling-attachment. I give this five-stars, and so does the other Airwrap user in our home. It's a good price, good quality, and works just like the original curler.

This long barrel attachment is really nice if you want bigger, looser curls. The 40mm size gives that soft, bouncy curl and the longer barrel is a big help for long hair because you can wrap more hair at once without fighting for space. This barrel attachment does clip onto my Dyson Airwrap securely, so compatibility isn’t an issue at all. Unfortunately, that’s where most of the positives end. The material feels noticeably cheap—lightweight and a bit flimsy compared to the original Dyson attachments. Performance is just okay; it creates loose curls, but they’re not as smooth or long-lasting, and the airflow doesn’t feel as refined. It works in a pinch if you want a longer barrel option without buying the brand-name version, but the overall experience feels like a downgrade. Considering the price, I expected better build quality. It’s usable, but not something I’d reach for regularly if I had the official attachment available.

I have the Dyson Airwrap HS01, and this attachment fits perfectly! I’m so excited. It is nice and snug with no wobbling at all, which is exactly what you want with something like this. One of the best features is the toggle switch that lets you set it for whichever side of your head you are working on. That means there is no need to keep switching hot barrels back and forth when moving from one side of your head to the other, which makes styling much easier and more convenient. Not sure why that was not thought of when the Airwraps first came out. I have long hair down to the middle of my back, and the 40mm size is great for me since I prefer larger, looser curls rather than tighter ones. Overall, I highly recommend this attachment, and I think it would make a great gift for anyone with an older Dyson Airwrap that does not already have this style of attachment.
