Correcting my previous review ..The oven was beautiful, cooks well, but the timer didn't work customer service, was trying to help, then we found out that apparently the oven was damaged in shipping . Customer support by email was great. They replaced the oven and we upgraded to the digital and couldn't be happier! It's beautiful, heats fast, love that there are no exposed heat elements, the front stays cool.. cooks perfectly. I would highly recommend this oven..and this company

The first oven to arrive was damaged and dented. The package was not damaged on the outside, so this suggest to me it was boxed already damage. The replacement looked good in appearance. After installing it, it had issues with short circuiting and lights flashing on and off. i did get it to bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes as per the instruction manual. After theist never has worked again. Only flashing lights. This oven is not just move in place ready. it has to be connected to electricity thru and junction box and then fitted into cabinet that is usually not built for it specific. It has been so defeating. i now have to find another oven and pay to have it connected. and hope it works.

I've been using it for almost 6 months. I can't figure out the temperature control - it's just off. I need to buy an in oven thermometer to help remedy because I have yet to be able to bake a single batch of even cookies correctly in it.

When our nearly 20 year old oven that came with our house broke between Thanksgiving and Christmas we were scrambling to try to come up with nearly $2K for a replacement. Happily we stumbled across Thermomate's products and were able to get a new oven very quickly without breaking the bank! Upon reading some reviews I was hesitant to be super trusting of the product at first, building in lots of extra cooking time to make sure everything I served was fully cooked. We have been cooking now for over 3 weeks through Christmas and New Year holidays and have had no issues! I'm very pleased with the oven so far. The only complaint I have is that some of the settings such as "Broil" and "Bake" seem opposite from standard big name ovens. If you purchase this oven, be sure to read the description of each setting so you know what to use for your cooking/baking needs. The dials are also a little unconventional but we have gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the oven many saying it looks European.
