I would caution buyers about one item: Don’t look directly at the nightlight unless you want to burn spots into your retinae. And, if you live near the coast, like I do, avoid turning on the “nightlight” if the lamp is in a windown facing the ocean. I received the lamp around 6 pm, after dark. I immediately assembled (very easy) and proudly displayed it in the window. After about 20 minutes, I was contacted by the Coast Guard, ordering me to turn off my nightlight, as ocean going vessels in the shipping lane offshore were confusing my lamp for the Lighthouse just north of my location. So, you may want to opt for a lower wattage bulb if it is in your window. Other than that, I am most likely getting another one so I have a pair. This lamp is stylish and a perfect bedside size. Nice lamp but the height is overstated - the top of the lampshade is about 22", the top of the lampshade knob is as described but the lampshade being an inch+ lower makes it a "smaller" table lamp. My main complaint would be the max wattage for both bulb sockets. The included bulbs are sufficient but not pleasant. Upper bulb is dim and the lampshade itself thick, so you don't get a lot of brightness. Contrary is the included led "edison" bulb for the lower socket - due to the fact that this bulb is an led style edison it is VERY bright, like nuclear bright- brighter than the lights on my Aerogarden! Even on it's lowest setting it's a distraction. I have several filament edison bulbs throughout my home and love them. The bulb glass is clear on this one so it's brightness is almost offensive - if the glass was tinted this could mitigate that glare. That being said - because of the low wattage rating of the lower socket, replacing the included bulb with a filament edison whose general wattage is 30 can be a hazard. I've replaced the included upper socket bulb with a Wyze Bulb Color A19 and am pleased with the results - the shade still inhibits more light than I'd like, but I can "tune" the color and brightness to a tolerable level. It's a really cool looking lamp, although I don't need the USB ports, but they're on the back of the base and not to "gadgety" looking. The lamp is small - if they made one 1.5x or 2x larger I'd buy several, they really are cool looking if you're into the vintage/rustic look which I am. I do recommend this item but be cognizant of what I mention above. ... show more

The box it came in looked Small, like I had ordered a very small table lamp when i wanted a Tall table lamp. The way it is packaged is very deceiving. Once I unwrapped everything and got the Shade to roll onto the Velcro strips of the shade correctly, ( a tad frustrating), I was Super happy with it. Looks welcoming and throws a lot of Light in the Living room. Plus has 2 phone charging ports. This lamp is very well-made. It puts off great lighting and the lampshade is easy to put on. I promise you I would definitely buy this lamp. No questions asked it’s very durable and it feels expensive if that makes any sense it’s a great quality lamp and I give it five stars.
