    • Great rolling Tech bag
Style: Rolling Case
Great Christmas gift. I bought two different Targus bags for my husband and son. They are both techies and need rolling bags. One is more of a backpack. The quality is excellent and half the price of many rolling luggage, technology packs. If you have a gamer or a teen who lugs a bit of stuff, this a a useful if boring gift. A month later, my son said it was actually a great gift. ... show more

    • Great for IT professionals who travel a lot
Style: Rolling Case
I purchased this bag about 18 months ago and paid a little over $30 for it. I do computer consulting and have to travel extensively, sometimes carrying up to 2 laptops and power cords, files, etc. and it has room to spare. It's held up really well considering that I've beaten the living hell out of it. It wasn't until this week that one of the wheels started to split. I went on the Targus website walla! I already have an RMA for the return and replacement of my bag! It appears they have a lifetime warranty. I've bought much more expensive bags and had them not last longer than this one. I've read the negative reviews about how it only lasted 2 trips or the handle not working. Perhaps I was lucky, but I haven't had any of those issues. I hope to get another 18 months out of the replacement and I would definitely recommend this laptop case to anyone that needs a reliable bag. ... show more

    • Light weight- holds a lot- plus fits under airline seats
Style: Rolling Case
I needed something that would work as a carry-on regardless of the airline. I previously used a backpack for my laptop and other personal items that I really prefer to keep within reach while traveling. This bag fits the bill. All of the function without the back discomfort. Theres a padded section that easily holds a 15" laptop with additional space for a couple of books. The other large pocket will hold a travel pillow and blanket or jacket. The smaller front section is perfect (and easily accessed) for your phone, portable charger, e-reader, wallet, keys and more. There are card slots, pen/pencil slots, paper/note book pocket, and (2) small electronics pockets which keep things in place regardless of whether the bag is upright, upside down or on its side. The bag fits well beneath the seat in front of you on the airplane. This was a must for me. I hate to go through the trouble of packing and dragging these things through an airport only to have them inaccessable in the overhead bin. This bag was priced noticably lower than a lot of the other similar options. It appears to fairly well made. The material is sturdy and the seams are solid. My only complaint would be the absence of a shoulder strap option. It was a bit challenging to manuever all of my luggage once I retrieved my checked bags. The bag sits at a slight slope to accommodate the feet. That made it difficult to just place on top of other wheeled luggage and go. As soon as you stop and have bags resting in an upright position the laptop case tends to lean or even fall. A shoulder strap could have helped secure it in place against the handle of my larger bag. I can probably use a luggage bungee to fix this so it isn't a deal breaker but did deduct one star. ... show more

    • Targus Metro Rolling Bag
Style: Rolling Case
I had been searching everywhere for a rolling bag for all my electronics for traveling from home but nothing met my needs and pocketbook until I discovered this on Amazon. I totally love it ...It holds my computer, tablet, ereader, handheld gaming system...as well as all the cords..portable hardrive...writable disc drive..pens etc...and space for a travel pillow and lightweight blanket in the last zipper compartment near the handle. It rolls like butter. It had a little bit of an odor when I first unwrapped it but it dissipated within a few days, another important issue for me as I have breathing problems concerning some fabrics from overseas. My stuff stays packed in it and if I go from room to room in my home or out the door it can roll with me as a mini office or reading & gaming central. Well spent money and would do it again in a heartbeat. ... show more

    • Works well for what I need right now.
Style: Rolling Case
I bought this case because I had taken on a new role at work that requires some travel and teleworking. Travels well, definitely roomy enough for big files and a small stash of essential office supplies, and protects my laptop. The telescoping handle is nice, although rather flimsy. Already showing signs of wear after a few months. I don’t recommend trying to overstuff this case, as I ended up tearing the lining inside one compartment. But that was my own fault. This case was a good choice for what I need at the moment, although I will definitely upgrade should my reassignment become permanent. Overall a nice case for the price, I do recommend it. ... show more

    • Doesn’t open enough / zipper issues
Style: Rolling Case
I regret purchasing this rolling laptop case. I wished it would open more. It was hard to get anything other than a laptop and papers in there. The last bag I bought was from Heritage travel (a brand I’ve never heard of). They no longer make that bag or I would’ve bought that one. Both bags are the same size, but the Heritage has zippers that stop about 1” from the bottom. The Targus zipper stop about 6 inches from the bottom. Because it doesn’t open fully, makes putting anything that’s not flat hard to get in. Yes to a laptop, a tablet, phone, and pens, but as a teacher I’d like to put a can of soup (for lunch), my make up bag, or something else in there. Additionally, the zippers are a bit stiff. I’m gonna try running a pencil along the zipper but with a new bag, I shouldn’t have to. Also, there’s only one zipper on the front flap so if you have anything loose, it potentially falls out. It would be better (for me, at least) to have 2 zippers that allow you to unzip from one side or the other or both. It’s lightweight and it was affordable. But it’s not really functional so, again, I wish I hadn’t purchased it. ... show more

    • Going somewhere?
Style: Rolling Case
I attend 2 and 3 day assemblies, and conventions, where I need something to hold my things, as well as aleviate pain from back and arms. I finally decided on this one because it was less expensive and small. This is my first bag on rollers and I just used it for a 2day assembly. It fit all my things and met my expectations. I'm not "heavy handed" with anything, so I feel this will last quite awhile. Only down side is I wish it was a tad smaller, but it still fit under the chair. I love that it is water resistant, as the weather this past weekend put it to a test with flying colors. I also have no problems with the wheels or handle... Really.... no complaints anywhere. Delivery was swift in time for me pack up and go. No damages to report either.. ... show more
