Don't do it! I thought maybe, just maybe, and it bit me! This could not even get out a single ball joint. Will be sending back. I ended up going to Harbor and purchased a $200 for what it's worth.

Kit works but the quality is questionable . I bent 2 pieces in the kit and the ball inside the c clamp broke .

Never had this before but I know i recently did ball and ujoints and as soon as I saw this I knew I’d need it to make that job easier. A good value and seems very well built !!!

Worked just fine. Don't believe it was the right kit for an 08 chevy silverado, but it worked good for removing and installing them.

This "limontek 21pcs Ball Joint Press and U Joint Removal Tool" came packaged in a plain cardboard box. Due to the heavy weight of this set, the cardboard box and the plastic storage case were a little beat up on arrival. The heavy clamp and several adapters were loose inside the case and deformed some of the plastic indents so they no longer stay in place. I have added a scrap of medium density foam to hold Adapter "E" and the heavy clamp in place when the case is closed. The plastic bendy hinges are a bit disappointing for such a heavy tool case, as are the cheap flimsy latches. The tool itself seems on par with other inexpensive specialty tools I have used/own. I greased the threads and giant ball bearing on the clamp/press before using it. I have not pushed it to it's limits to verify it's quality, yet. I normally put a torch on things if they're putting up a fight, rather than ruin my tools. The variety of adapters is great and I will just buy a better clamp by itself should this one prove inferior. I appreciate that everything is labeled and that it includes a manual for applications, albeit only back to 1980. So far the set meets my expectations, except for the storage case.

The build quality of the press and adapters is great. Be sure to grease the threads on the press if you want to make life easier and prolong the tool life. I have another ball joint press that only has 5 to 6 adapters. This has 19 adapters. More proper sized adapters means you won't have to fiddle to get them to function correctly. I've even used the adapters in a hydraulic press for pushing out and in bearings and bearing races. They have held up well. This is priced less than the smaller offbrand kit I bought years ago. The blow molded case could be a little thicker. That's only an issue if you are a mobile mechanic. Stored in a stationary toolbox the case is fine.
