The unit is surprisingly assembled in the USA. The motor is more than ample. Came almost completely assembled right out of the box. Solid instructions on the mower. It went nonstop mowing a slightly overgrown yard of 3/4 of an acre. Unit seems to be well designed. My only gripe and its not major is that is does not travel in self propelled mode as fast as I wish to travel. Motor didn't seem to hesitate in taller grass and didn't kill itself as most mowers do. While I certainly cannot say it will stand the test of time yet, 1st impressions are very good. For its price, I do recommend this unit

I purchased this because the lawn mower I had finally stopped working (after several years). I shopped around, compared prices, reviews etc. For a slightly cheaper price I said this seems like a good mower, all mowers are pretty much the same right? Wrong! This one has the power but MY issue is that I have a maple tree in my back yard. Now's the time of year where the seeds/helicopters are falling. So I cut my grass and NORMALLY it picks up the grass AND the seeds/helicopters...NOT with this mower. It spits them out from under the mower. I have my bag on, I've lowered the mower and raised it up and no difference. So if I want a neat looking lawn I have to cut it first and them make several more passes to TRY and pick up and debris left over. The bag also has things blowing out from the top of it, I guess the seal isn't that good either. I was expecting this thing to blow me away but it's just a HUGE disappointment. Live and learn.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – AMRISUN 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower I used my AMRISUN 21" self-propelled lawn mower for the first time today, and I’m seriously impressed. The 170cc engine has plenty of power and handled my yard with ease, even through thicker grass. The self-propelled drive makes mowing effortless, which is a huge plus if you have a medium to large yard. What really stood out was how well the mulching feature works. It chopped the clippings up super fine and spread them evenly across the lawn. I also tried the grass bag collection, and it filled efficiently without clogging. Switching between mulching and bagging was quick and simple. The mower feels solid, easy to maneuver, and starts reliably. For the price and performance, this mower absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a powerful, easy-to-use mower with excellent mulching and bagging performance, the AMRISUN 21" is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! Definitely a 5-star mower.

Ok I got this for my chickens lol yes I’m one of those chicken moms . I wanted a lawn mower with the bag so I can just use clippings in their coops . It runs great , sharp & easy to push, I don’t have any issues as far as that goes . The bag I will say is easy to detach from the mower but I do have a problem with the grass clumping up at the bag entrance and then the grass doesn’t go in the bag , you need to constantly keep a check on it to make sure it’s actually working properly. The Higher the grass seems to be when it happens most & I’m not talking super high either . I mow every 2-3 days . If I let it go 4-5 days it clogs continuously. So do with that as you will . I will also add it cuts it up super fine which I love especially for my chicken coop. All in all I would definitely recommend.

This unit is a beast. I like it a lot. Powerful and, in my case, powered through shin height vegetation with no lag. My property is pretty much all incline and had no issue with mowing, but my legs got tired to complete it in 1 day(1acre) It did jerk out of my hand a time or two and I let go of start lever and had to keep re starting it but it was an operator issue not the machine. I will say it’s heavy and if the self propelled part ever stopped working it would be a tank to push. I hope the plastic wheels last. This unit replaced a Troy bilt and the rear plastic wheel broke off. Try mowing with 3 wheels…

A nice surprise right out of the box. ABC done and running! I look at mechanical things how well they're engineered. I realize lots of parts are made of plastic these days, and this mower is not that bad. The price point is spot on. I sent into the thick spring grass right away. And it took it like a champ. The pace was also spot on. At least for me anyway. This is the 170cc self propelled 21". It's a winner folks, however any negatives I'll make sure to update my review.

If you're young and strong then this mower is right for you. The self-propel is so fast that I was running to keep up. I had to stop the machine to turn a corner and then had to drag it around before engaging the self-propel again. Mfg. told me it can not be adjusted. The oil was hard to pour in because parts are close. I had to use a funnel. It is easy to assemble and it starts right away. It gives a good cut.

I've had relatively few complaints with Amazon purchases since I normally know and closely scrutinize items I am purchasing but this one is a loser and would definitely not recommend even for the less demanding mower purchaser. Everything about was cheap in terms of materials and design. The wheel height adjustment only stayed in place for the lowest settings. The wheels were lightweight and flimsy even when well tightened and looked like something from a child's toy. The part and assembly for opening the side discharge was awkward and unstable and the entire mower was very lightweight compared to any other steel deck mower I've ever used. Didn't even start it an re-boxed. The good news is how quickly and generous Amazon was in rectifying the problem.
