I recently purchased the cordless pool vacuum designed for above-ground pools, and I’m pretty pleased with it. It claims to handle areas up to 660 square feet, which fits my needs perfectly. The best part is the 90-minute runtime, allowing it to cover most of my pool on a single charge without me having to babysit it. Setting it up was straightforward; I just charged it like the instructions suggested and then let it loose in the pool. I love that it’s portable and doesn’t require any cords to manage while it's working. Watching this little robot move around and do its thing is actually quite satisfying. It gets into all the corners and does a good job picking up debris, leaves, and dirt. What impressed me most is its self-parking feature. When the battery is low, it heads back to the edge of the pool and stops right there, which I find very convenient. I don’t have to worry about jumping in to retrieve it. I’ve noticed my pool stays a lot cleaner with less effort on my part, which is definitely a win. My only minor complaint is that it sometimes gets stuck in areas with obstacles, like the pool ladder, but that’s not a huge deal. I just keep an eye on it for that quick rescue. I would say this vacuum is a solid investment for anyone with an above-ground pool. It’s made my pool maintenance much easier and enjoyable.

This little thing has some power to it! And its robotic and cordless!? Nice! Big difference than doing it by a vac and a pole! It's small but mighty enough for our above ground rectangular pool, and has a big battery that lasts enough to clean the pool completely after a full weekend of kids using it non stop. Plus it has a filter that picks up whatever your pools finds in it. We live in Florida, so our 'dirt' is just dark sand. So everytime someone gets in the pool, sand is added from the bottom of feet. From anyone and anywhere really. So sand is always an issue that settles to the bottom and is hard to get up. But this pool robotic cleaner gets that up too. Along with pine needles, leaves, grass clippings, sunk bugs, anything else that's down there. Now to be honest, some of the bigger bugs and leaves that are still whole do not get picked up from the first pass at times. And the sand too. But on the 2nd pass or so, it ends up disappearing. It only takes a few hours to get a full charge. There has been a couple days where there has been more than usual debris, due to a storm if I remember right, and there was still nothing left on the bottom. This isn't an $800 Aiper, so don't compare it to one. Those are for larger in ground pools. This is for smaller above ground pools and doesn't do steps, walls, or inclines. So if that's what you want this for, try and look for one that will suit your needs better. But it does good for above ground pools just fine. And even better when you get to the maintenance part where it can do a once around and done. It's really as simple as push a button and set it down. It does the rest all on its own. The filter is easy to get to and easy to clean out. A garden hose gets most of the gunk out and what that doesn't get, I put the jet head on the garden hose to get out the stuff that is really stuck on there. This pool cleaner really is user friendly. We let my parents, who are just about 80 years old, use it when they go on little trips so their pool stays clean. And they have no issues with using and operating it either. It's not that heavy so it can be handled by most with no problem. When it goes, it goes! Has great traction even on the smooth pool bottom of our pool. Value for the money really is great with this time saving pool cleaner. There are pool vacs that you push on the bottom with a pole, and then you have this little guy. HUGE difference in the saving time aspect.

Light blue see through cover . In the box you receive battery powered Robotic Pool cleaner. (some assembly is needed ) You also receive the handle which needs to be attached, the pull it out of the pool hook which attaches to your pool pole, Not provided by Winny, owners manual, bottom scrapers and a charger for it. I charged it up and it took about 3 hours, took it out to the pool and let it go. The unit takes off without any issues after you turn it on and let it submerge to the bottom of the pool. It moves around the pool attempting to pick up as much debris as possible. My pool had some big Maple tree leaves in it along with those long White pine tree needles. These clogged up the vacuums suction ports. It did not do a great job of cleaning my pool, which is the first clean coming out of winter. It did manage to pick up some of the smaller debris. My thoughts on this unit is that it is a light to medium weight Robotic pool cleaner that would probably do just fine if I had hooked up the pools pool pump vacuum and used it first to clean out all of the left over winter stuff from the bottom of the pool. Granted during the summer in the midst of the full pool season we do not get Maple leaves or pine needles in our pool so I think that this unit would do good during that time. Another item on this unit is that you need to install the retrieval handle onto the top of the unit and scrapers to the bottom of the unit This is not a good design because the owners manual warns you not to turn the unit upside down and have it sit with the bottom up.... why ..... because the handle may brake off. Now this brings up another issue for me in that that the charging port and the on/off button are both on the bottom of the unit. Lastly this unit has a two filter system and it is the foam filter that seems flimsy and probably will not last more than one season. The above issues are the reason for my four star rating. Update: I cleaned out the larger debris from our pool today and gave this Robotic Pool cleaner another chance. It did a great job cleaning up the small debris this time around.Our pool has a small cove that goes around the pool wall and it had no problems going up the cove and cleaning the wall edge

This is a comparison review between THIS Winny (2026 smaller model) and THE OTHER Winny (2025 version of this more expensive cleaner: https://a.co/d/0g8kLt2G) To prepare for the head-to-head cleaning battle, I made sure that both were fully charged, and then I let them loose simultaneously in the pool, to run until they stopped. Then I compared how much dirt and debris the different models captured. Drumroll, please: it was very much the same! Both models did an excellent job cleaning the bottom of the pool. I have tested other similarly priced models (an Aiper and a Gosmer), and this is the first time one as inexpensive as THIS Winny actually cleaned anything. It cleaned a lot, too! They both use double layer of filtering. There is a substantial difference in price between THIS Winny and THE OTHER model. So what do you get for the more expensive one? It can handle a larger sized pool, and it also has different modes so you can do a once-and-done clean, or you can select a different program to split up the cleaning over time. I do think this one is easier to hook and bring up, too, and I strongly prefer the power button and plug to be on top of the machine. IMO both models are equally annoying to put back together. They really need to work on the tray system so that they just fall into place more easily. I recommend numbering the trays, if only for the reassurance as you futz with them that you really do have them in the right order. If you could go either way, then if you prefer to have a visual on how much is in the vacuum, then THIS Winny has that clear body that lets you see inside. When it comes to the core job of actually cleaning up the bottom the pool, you can't go wrong with either one, and this model is the best value out of any of the pool cleaners that I have tested. When you start up THIS Winny, press the start button a little harder than it seems you need to, so you feel a little click in there. If you got it, then it will keep chirping at you. Love this little cordless robot cleaner for our above ground pools. So far it easily pulls up sand, small leaves and dead sunken bugs, even on the wrinkled part of the liner. Our pool is only 18 feet across so it has plenty of battery power to zig and zag over the entire pool floor several times before the battery runs out. It’s not like a roomba vacuum where it recalls the pattern but for the battery life it has time to get most all of the pool floor. Battery seems to last a bit over an hour and then little guy floats over to the side and awaits being pulled out and the charged for its next turn. With kids there seems to constantly be debris in the pool and we’ve been using it it every other day or so, although we did have a bit of a cold snap so it’s gotten a break until it warms back up. Best feature is the fact that it is cordless so no tangles or trying to find someplace to get it plugged in and cords drug across the yard. Price seems fair for the time it saves us.

I am honestly very impressed with this robotic pool cleaner. I was a little skeptical at first because I have tried other cleaners before that missed spots or got stuck, but this one has worked great from the first use. Setup was simple and quick. I charged it, placed it in the pool and it got right to work. It moves around smoothly and covers way more area than I expected. It picks up leaves, dirt, sand and little debris that usually settles on the bottom. What I like most is how much time it saves me. Instead of dragging out hoses or spending time brushing everything myself, I can just drop this in and let it handle the job. When it is done the pool looks noticeably cleaner and the water looks fresher. It even gets areas where dirt likes to collect near the walls and corners better than I thought it would. The cordless design is a huge plus. No tangled cords to deal with and no worrying about it getting twisted while cleaning. It is easy to remove from the water and empty the filter basket. Cleaning the basket takes only a few minutes and then it is ready for the next use. Battery life has been solid for my needs and it lasts long enough to complete a full cleaning cycle. The build quality also feels better than expected. It feels sturdy, not cheap, and it seems like it was made to last through regular use. The wheels move well and it climbs around without much trouble. It has made pool maintenance less stressful and way more convenient. If you are tired of cleaning your pool by hand or dealing with older cleaners that barely work, this is worth trying. It has made a real difference for me and I wish I had bought one sooner.
