I haven’t got to use this a lot yet but so far has been great! I like that when you pull codes 1 click and it brings up google search of information on code, it has a lot of functions, honestly maybe more than I’ll use. Everything included seems to be good quality and made to last, the cases are even good quality, the only thing I wish the cases had was a molded slot for each of the keying adaptors. What I’ve used so far has been easy reading and hit the nail on the head, I’m waiting for keys/fobs for vehicle so I can use the xp200 and or xp400, but I believe they will hit the mark like the rest! All in all I feel was definitely a good worth while investment for my shop!

Fast Shipping and well packaged! The seller was very responsive with any questions I had. This scanner can pretty much do it all, i needed something that would be compatible with my 2026 Tiguan and I’m glad I went with this. It has tons of functions where you can test actuators, sensors and pretty much anything a shop can do. I’ve used it already to program a Nissan key fob and it took no time at all. If you are looking for something for an at home or professional setting this will pretty much do the job. Both the key fob programmer and the programmer itself comes with a lot of attachments to make it compatible with most vehicles. For the price you can’t find a better scanner.

Excelnte equipo para programar llaves y dignostico medio del vehiculo. todo en uno muy completo. Lamentablemte la funcion inmo para Toyota no supera las expectativas. no hace llaves perdidas y agregar una llave estas obligado a buscar contraseña a terceros. con otras marcas funciona muy bien Espero mejoren el servicio con toyota.

I’ve been following the IM508S Pro for a while, watching a lot of YouTube videos, and it really caught my attention. A locksmith friend recommended it and let me try his, and I was impressed. It handles BMW and VW keys easily, and Benz keys as well when paired with the XP4000PRO—but note that only the IM508S Pro comes with the XP4000PRO; other IM508S models don’t. I actually bought the wrong one before and had to return it. The IM508S Pro also offers diagnostics, active tests, and other functions for modern car work. The interface is clean and simple, the menus are clear, and setup was quick. I’ve used it several times now—response is fast and everything runs smoothly. For me, this is a reliable, powerful tool, and I’m really happy I chose Autel.

Picked up the IM508S PRO after reading a bunch of reviews and asking the seller about the difference with the regular version. The PRO comes with the XP400 PRO which normally sells for $500 and lets you do some advanced stuff on a PC that makes certain jobs way easier. I mainly wanted it for security-related work but it's also a really capable scanner. Full-system checks, live data, actuator tests, and service functions all work without issue. The first setup takes a little time to register and update everything but after that it runs smooth and makes sense. Just a heads up, this is really meant for someone with experience or learning under a skilled tech, total beginners might struggle.This is all good like my MS906 Max, It works perfectly with my daily tasks.

I've been a master tech for five years. About six months ago, we worked on a 2015 BMW 5 series that had been fooded. l told my boss not to take the job since those cars always bring trouble, but he insisted. We replaced the damaged control module and used the IM608 II with G-B0X to get everthing matched. Took two full days, but the car finally started. A few months later, another module burned out, and my boss blamed me again. That was it for me-l quit. Now I work on my own, focusing on vehicle security systems. After comparing many tools, I found that the IM508S with xp4000PRO offers the same level of anti-theft capability as the IM608 II, just without the extra programming features l don't really need. For the price, it's unbeatable. I recently used this setup on a 2023 BMW X7 with the latest BDC03 system. The dealer quoted over $700, and l made around $300 profit. The customer had already tried several shops, but none could solve it. After l fixed it, he was so impressed he recommended me to others. Now I'm busier than ever, even my old boss tried to get me back, but I had no interest. lf you're in this field and care about both performance and value, this IM508S PRO scanner is a good choice.
