  • Gets every mullet in the pool
Color: Gray
We own a campground with a 40x20 heated pool. I am CPO certified, so I know how to keep a pool perfectly balanced and clean. I decided to get the the 2025 s1 version, to minimize the amount of morning work I have with the pool. I put the bot in at night on floor mode and cover the pool, by morning everything is clean. It is amazing the amount of crude this thing is able to get. We've had it a week now and every day the filter is like this. Over the 4th I could swear it pulled 3 mullets worth of hair out of the pool. Money well spent, but time will tell if it lasts. I will definitely update my review, if something changes. ... show more

  • Great product so far!!
Color: Gray
Scuba Steve Went on its maiden voyage today in the pool and did a fantastic job! It even went on the sun shelf which is about 9 inches and cleaned that which I was surprised by. Cleaned the waterline very well and caught really fine dirt even though I took out the filter used for the very fine particles that it comes with. Very impressed! ... show more

  • Poor performance on slopes
Color: Gray
The media could not be loaded. TLDR: Poor performance on slopes. Would not recommend getting unless you have a flat bottom pool with no slopes. My pool is a standard 16x32 vinyl pool with an 8ft deep end. The good: The vacuum does pick up the sand and large debris on the floor (even without the fine filter). It does scale the wall and just above the waterline. It appears to get most of the debris off the floor. The bad: I have to baby sit it because it often gets stuck trying to do the N/S pattern in corners and on slopes. I run it on floor mode because in auto mode, once it cleans the walls it doesn't seem to have enough power to ascend the slope of my pool floor. But even in floor only mode, it seems to have difficulty navigating sloped floors, sloped walls, and sloped corners. In the attached video its stuck on floor at the beginning of the slope from the shallow end of the pool. The tracks were not making contact with the floor, the scrubbing rotors not doing much, and the jet not strong enough to move it. What's even worst is that after I nudged it, it reversed to attempt to go back over the same spot!!!! When it eventually gets to the deep end it has problems navigating the sloped walls and sloped floors. In one photo I attached you can see it drives along the very steep sloped wall, being almost vertical. However, the vacuum has difficulty on the less steep slope from the deep end back up to the shallow. On this slope the vacuum attempts the S/N pattern but constantly back slides down the slope, going over the same spot over and over. (It does the same back tracking on corners and steps in AUTO/WALL mode). It would often get stuck at this point in the deep end, along the slope doing the same thing over and over (I wish I could upload the video, but multiple videos are not allowed on reviews) Also I'm not convinced that the scrubbers are actually scrubbing the floor. The front of the vacuum seems to float off the ground a bit and the scrubbers just agitate the debris and hopefully the vacuum picks it up. It doesn't remove algae, and misses dirt in bumps and wrinkles. Overall: Is its helpful? Yes, it reduces the amount of manual vacuuming I have to do but doesn't eliminate it, nor does it eliminate the need for manually scrubbing as the vacuum misses spots and does not remove algae. It's also annoying to have to check on it every 15 minutes to make sure its not stuck. Is it worth the price? Let's just say I'm glad I got it on sale. If I get 5 years out of the vacuum I'll be happy. *Fingers crossed* ... show more

  • Does a Great Job Cleaning the Entire Pool
This Aiper vacuum does a much better job of cleaning the pool than our previous vacuum. Our previous vacuum would miss about 20% of the floor and about 40% of the walls. This Aiper vacuum cleans about 95% of the floor and 80% of the walls. Our pool has 7 sides, so, when cleaning the floor, the vacuum doesn’t run in a neat pattern as shown in the manual, but it manages to clean the entire floor in a random pattern in a little less than 2 hours. It runs in an orderly pattern when cleaning the walls, but, since our pool is an irregular shape which includes an outside corner, it bypasses the entire length of one of the sides, and misses some other areas when going around the corners. When cleaning the walls, the vacuum goes all the way up to the water line. This Aiper Scuba vacuum is very easy to handle. It’s relatively light compared to our previous vacuum and is easy to drop in and lift out of the pool. The single, large debris container is very easy to remove, clean and replace. This vacuum has 4 different running modes. It can be set to run the floor cycle and wall cycles separately, or it can be set to clean both the floor and walls. It also has an “eco mode” which will clean the floor for 45 minutes every other day for a week if the vacuum is just left in the pool. This mode will be very handy for when we go on vacation. Overall, the Aiper Scuba S1 is a fantastic pool vacuum at a great price. ... show more
