  • The Ultra Fine Filter Is a Game Changer! Absolutely Incredible.
Color: Gray
I have a 2024 Aiper Surfer S2 skimmer, a 2024 Scuba S1(no internet/no ultra fine filter) and now this 2025 Scuba S1 and they are all incredible in terms of performance and reducing my time cleaning my pool. I am my own pool guy and do everything myself and these tools are worth every last penny I paid for them. I live in the SoCal high desert where dust and pollen (from my neighbors 100 Acre Woods recreation upwind from me) are a massive issue. I used to have a side suction cleaner connected to my pool 24/7/365, but it was such a headache and never cleaned the bottom 100% no matter how long it ran.... so many missed areas. When I bought my 2024 Aiper Scuba S1 (without the ultra fine filter) I was able to remove the side suction vacuum completely and just use the robot in conjunction with my pool's main filter and run both together so that the dust and pollen that would go right through the robot's filter and out the exhaust into the water column would then stand a chance at getting picked up by my main filter system. That had worked well, but after a few days of massive winds, there was just too much dust and pollen to remove that way and it would then just settle on the bottom where I would have to manually vacuum it up...... that is until this 2025 Aiper Scuba S1 with its new ultra fine filter! From above, my pool looked crystal clear when I threw in Mr. 2025 S1 for his maiden dive and I have included pictures of what he removed on his initial 3:31 minute bottom only mode run. The once white ultra fine filter is now brown... like mud brown! It is simply next level what it removed. I did not run my main filter system at the same time, as I wanted all of the dust that I could not even see from the surface to remain on the bottom and not get blown into the water column by the return jets of my main filter. I now have 2 bottom robots to use back to back on the horrific spring and fall days where every leaf in the housing tract lands in my pool. On those days I will not use the ultra fine filter, just the standard filter.... I plan to use the ultra fine filter exactly how I did today about once per week for normal maintenance. Also, this 2025 version connects to the app where you can see the battery life while it's charging as well as select the mode if you want (you can also do it on the front panel which is how I will always do it), but the main thing you can do with the app is update the firmware if Aiper makes improvements in the future.... my 2024 version can not do this. It does not connect to the internet when under water and there is no way to control it once under. I will update this review for the good or bad if anything pops up! ... show more

  • After five tries, the Apier Scuba S1 is a keeper!
Color: Blue
Oh my goodness finally a pool vac that cleaned my pool! This was the fourth... no no the fifth pool vac that I've ordered. and I've tried from way more than twice this price to one of the little cheapies. Our pool is quite small so I do have a very handy little hand vacuum that is totally easy to use… But I wanted to simply drop something in the pool most days and then come back to see it beautiful.Totally unhappy with any other than this one. One night, I left the really expensive guy run overnight in my pool, hoping to wake up to a pristine sparkling pool, oh brother, how disappointing. I live in Arizona… Sand is a huge problem and no other vacs seem to want to pick it up. Now, I don't worry about leaves or anything else... oh yeah, a few bougainvillea blossoms here and there, but I just scoop them up with my net. It's the sand on the bottom every day and every day.. And this little beauty, well I think I'm in love… Woke up this morning and I could have jumped straight in the pool if it were a couple degrees warmer :-) this is only the beginning of April. I'm gonna have to wait a couple weeks for that. Now my little girl Bria, my fuzzy little girl I mean, she gets in just about every day Just to cool her feet off. She hops onto the top step, gets her feet cooled off and if she's really warm, she'll sit in it for a while. BUT, now I won't have to bring her straight in and give her a second shower after she does that. We've never had any problem with the cleanliness of the water itself...we have a salt system… Works beautifully, but the sand in the bottom of the pool yes, problem. I think this is the best pool vacuum apparently out there cause goodness knows I've tried enough and returned them. I suggest this pool vac. I hope it lasts forever. Oh, and I'm actually a customer I paid for my Pool vac. Just a sidebar I'm 85 years old, and the set up was absolutely no problem whatsoever, and it's not all that terribly heavy. I really do like this vac so far. ... show more

  • Sadly, not a fan
Color: Gray
I'm disappointed. The scruba doesn't clean well and the idea it just stops wherever it is in the pool makes removing it from the pool a feat. I'm a female and the device is heavy when submerged into the water. The hook and pool needed to remove the robot have broken. It's a lot. Trying to hook the robot to bring it up from the water can be a task in itself. On top of that, it can't be wet when you put it on the docking station. It's easier and less time consuming to just vacuum the pool, and far more manageable. I got lost in researching these devices and finally went by the reviews. Look closer at them, the problematic information is in there and a very real problem. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this isn't freeing up time in pool maintance at all. ... show more
