This petite Alex Evening dress is just as pictured and described. This dress is in deep plum. I have this exact dress in navy. I love the stretchy bodice and sleeves. The dress arrived on a hanger in a plastic bag. I was afraid it would be rolled up in a ball and stuffed in a bag like a dress I recently purchased from Amazon, but was pleasantly surprised that was not the case for this dress. I usually wear a16-18 in formal dresses, this is a 16 petite and it fits great. I am 5 feet and the dress length will be fine with 3 inch heels. ... show more

It’s perfect with low heels but for flats you might have to get it shortened an inch for safety. It’s is well made and I found the color was pretty much as shown in reviews.
